Guest UserSeriously, you can book this place with confidence! It's incredibly clean. The bathtub even has a disposable liner, and there are toilet seat covers in the bathroom. Plus, the room comes with a Dyson air purifier.
The hotel service is excellent too. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone is super friendly and accommodating. They pretty much go above and beyond to help. My kids really love Shangri-La (because of the playground), so for the past two years, we've mostly stayed in Shangri-La's Horizon Club rooms. I've tried other unique hotels in between, but none have quite lived up to expectations. This time, after a bad experience at the Shangri-La in Changchun, I decided to try both the 'Song Dynasty Aesthetic' hotel and this one in Harbin. We weren't happy with the other place, so we came here thinking we'd just check it out and leave if we didn't like it (they offer free cancellation before 6 PM). But wow, we were so impressed when we arrived! This is definitely a hotel I'll choose again and again!

The hotel's decor style is very new and different from the older Holiday Inn Express, perhaps they've updated their product line. The front desk lady quietly upgraded our room type, and the room was very characteristic of Northeast China, haha. It's spacious and very clean, with not a single water stain on the faucets or showerhead, which made my OCD very happy. It's a shame we had to switch hotels later to go elsewhere, otherwise, I would have definitely stayed here longer. Breakfast was also very rich. Thumbs up!

The hotel boasts a great location, surrounded by attractions. It's just a 2-minute walk to Central Street and a 10-minute drive to Harbin Station. There's a bus stop right outside and a subway station nearby, making transportation very convenient. The rooms are well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. The hotel offers a complimentary self-service afternoon tea, which is a lovely and thoughtful touch. The staff provides excellent service, promptly addressing any issues. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Pros: Great location, very close to Central Avenue, Zhaolin Park, and Saint Sophia Cathedral, making it convenient to visit anytime. Taxis are easily accessible right outside the hotel. We stayed in a duplex family room, which had a nice decor and two large beds, offering separate spaces perfect for a family.
Cons: Our room was on the first floor, and there were some insects. The window faced a small street, so passersby could easily see into the room. The bathroom was poorly ventilated and had a very loud flushing sound, making it awkward to use if someone was sleeping. Breakfast was very ordinary; the Chinese dishes were acceptable, but the Western options like cakes, bread, milk, and cereals were quite poor. The afternoon tea was very basic with not much to eat, and I didn't see the evening congee, so I can't comment on that.

Guest UserEverything was perfect! The hotel is in a great location just next to the pedestrian street with many shops and street shows. The staff was amazing and happy to answer questions and help. The furniture in the room was new, very clean; the only thing was missing was a room fridge, so if it’s important to you, choose a different place to stay. Overall, great stay and we’re happy to come back!

Guest UserThe hotel staff, from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping, were all incredibly warm and provided exceptional service!
The hotel's location is superb! 👍🏻 It's directly opposite Central Street, offering panoramic views of it right from the room. It's also very close to the subway and bus stations, making travel very convenient!
The overall environment is clean and tidy. The common areas are well-maintained and comfortable, and the rooms have good natural light and ventilation. It's quiet, not noisy, ensuring a great night's sleep.
The daily afternoon tea is such a lifesaver for families with kids who stay in the hotel during the day! The kids absolutely loved it!
The breakfast spread was also extensive! And having unlimited Madieer ice cream was an unexpected delightful surprise!
The aunts and uncles at the restaurant became friends with my child, who now says they'll definitely be back in winter!
Many thanks to the hotel staff for their thoughtful service. Wishing you all the best in your work!

LianchengxuanniniThe location is fantastic, just a short walk to Central Street. There's a supermarket right next door downstairs, which is super convenient for grabbing snacks and drinks. The hotel lobby is very clean, and the front desk staff are warm and welcoming. They even upgraded my room, which was clean, spacious, very hygienic, and comfortable. The soundproofing was quite good, the vanity was spotless, and the shower had a great wet/dry separation. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Harbin.

Great location with a spacious parking lot. The staff were very welcoming and responsive. I accidentally booked the wrong dates, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating the change. The hotel is right next to a ski resort, and they even offered free skiing passes for the whole family, which was a nice bonus!

The room was very spacious, with a 1.8m king-size bed, a 1.2m single bed, and a chaise lounge. The handsome guy at the front desk contacted us in advance to set up a tent, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere. The facilities were also complete, including a garment steamer, a mini-fridge, and a tea bar. It would have been perfect if the curtains were blackout curtains. We stayed for two nights, and the lady at the front desk was incredibly responsive and spoke softly. She even helped me carry and freeze a 16-pound vacuum-sealed red sausage. Thumbs up to her!

Let's start with the positives: The hotel's decor is very unique, and the rooms are spacious. There's a hotel cable car that goes directly across the river, making it very close to Central Street, and the cable car views are fantastic. The hotel is right by the river, with a small sandy beach where you can play in the water. The hotel is located within Sun Island Scenic Area, so it's very close to the Panda House.
Now for the negatives: The heating is very poor; there's no underfloor heating, and the air conditioning doesn't produce heat. The front desk provided a space heater, but the room is quite large, so it couldn't warm it up at all. Hot water also takes a long time to come through; you have to run the water for several minutes before it gets hot, which essentially makes showering impossible. The breakfast is very basic, and the dining area is even colder than the rooms. I'd recommend not having breakfast at the hotel. The hotel requires entry through a mall entrance, and the mall closes at 9 PM. So, if you want to go out or return after 9 PM, you need to call the front desk to open the door. Since the hotel is inside the Sun Island Scenic Area, when taking a taxi into the area, you have to shout to the park security, ”I'm a guest at [hotel name]” to be allowed in. Also, when ordering a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the hotel, you need to register the Didi car's license plate number at the front desk for the car to be able to drive from the park entrance to the hotel.
The above is for your reference. The front desk service was very attentive, and even though there were some issues with the facilities, the front desk staff were helpful in resolving them. I believe the experience would be better during peak tourist season.
