The hotel was conveniently situated for the tram into Edinburgh. Unfortunately the TV didn’t work when got into the room nor did the extraction fan in the bathroom. I called reception and the man got the TV working but he didn’t get the fan working properly. He said do you want some room spray and I said no I want it working.
He offered to see if we could change rooms but no one got back to me. The breakfast was average.

I think the hotel location is very good, almost touching the royal mile with just few meters away. This hotel is suitable for solo or business travelers as this is an express hotel. The room we got was very small in size 19m2 not suitable for family with a kid. There was no refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was very ordinary with very few options so, I will not suggest to take breakfast at this hotel, in fact people can scout on royal mile for a decent restaurant.
Overall, 1 or 2 days should be ok without much hassle but if you are planning to spend some more time then I will not suggest for this hotel. Staff was always helpful and they do the best to guide you for things.

Abit small but great for the location, able to walk to tourist attractions easily.
Only concern was that my pyjamas was missing after the house cleaning, they misplaced my pants and I was unable to get it back. There was no compensation or anything done for it. The receptionist just told us sorry that they can't find it in their laundry pile.

Room was brilliant.✨ Had a very comfortable sleep and rest everytime we go back to our cozy space. Location was slightly far from the centre (approx 36mins) but still managed to walk because of edinburgh's outstanding architectures, we barely noticed the distance we travelled. Receptionist was very nice as well. Wil recommend! ✨

The hotel is both clean and accommodating. The rooms are modern and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast was actually above par, (a few hotels lately produce much lower quality in comparison) and the haggis was quite tasty too. The location is perfect for reaching the town centre on foot, (around 10-20 minutes depending on how fast you walk). We had parking available upon ringing at the intercom and then verifying our booking via last name. My only real issue was the price of the parking, (£16 for 24 hours, £48 for three days for myself) however with that said, trying to park within the town centre will be very tough, and quite costly as you'll likely have ”2 hours no return” etc. So the £16 per day actually balances out and you have zero to worry about in regards your car, (the parking area is also gated). So although pricey, I'd say after experiencing Edinburgh myself, that it's actually not to bad. Oh, and please update the fitness room as it's lacking some vital equipment. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel.
Key points: The location is great for the visit to Edinburgh Town Centre, Train Station, it's many cafes/restaurants and various other activities that you might want to do.

We think you will agree that our location is perfect, but we all know it is what is on the inside that really counts. Our welcoming bar is stocked with a great selection of Scottish beers and spirits, our fiber Wi-Fi is free and speedy, and we have a beautiful outdoor courtyard for relaxing with a tipple - when the inclement Scottish weather behaves itself. And with a room upgrade option available, you will certainly enjoy plenty for your money at ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge.

Great
DDanH24Exactly what you need. Big, clean, well furnished room with all the amenities you’d need. Breakfast was good - available from 0400 and had the ability to take a coffee with you. Check-in and out seamless - less than 5 minute walk from the car rental lot and the same for the walk to the departure terminal. You absolutely stay again.

YYunduanderizi21A very traditional, elegant, ancient and solemn hotel, the overall feeling is very good!
The location is very convenient. After exiting the Waverley train station, you can reach the hotel in less than 5 minutes on foot. The entrance is very eye-catching. It's just a big uphill walk, and it will be a bit strenuous if you push a large piece of luggage. It only takes 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the castle.
The hotel lobby is very traditional, and the characteristic bonfire hall seems to have entered Santa Claus's home. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and introduced the various facilities in the room in detail. Because Scotland is still quite cold, I didn't feel it when I turned on the heating in the room to the maximum. In the morning, a traditional English breakfast on the first floor of the hotel is absolutely amazing. There is a western restaurant with candlelight dinner next to the hotel, where you can enjoy a sweet world for two! 😍😍

GGuest UserTook 15 mins to book in could not find my details. Booked a kingsize superior room and got two single beds put together as my bed. Was not comfortable. There was a water tank beside my room that kept dripping my full duration of my break. Would not be going back to the hotel
CCassenya PreeceOur stay at the Hub was delightful! We arrived Christmas morning and were offered a very early check in and breakfast which was extremely appreciated. The place is in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere and it was very clean. Small space but it was all we needed for a few nights. Would happily stay again. Thank you!!
GGuest User- **Positive Aspects**:
- Friendly and helpful help desk staff.
- Enjoyed the complimentary dinner provided for the inconvenience.
- **Areas for Improvement••:
- **Cleaning Service**: Inadequate cleaning; two days without service, requiring requests for cleaning.
- **Supplies**: Inconvenience due to waiting for tissue restocking.
- **Room Temperature Control**: Unable to adjust the temperature.
- **Door Access Issue**: Long wait for battery replacement; offered a room change instead.
### Overall Impression:
While there were some positive interactions, the issues I faced made for a less than satisfactory experience.

MMein LebenLocation very good, just next to calton hill. Many facilities, including TV, iron, kettle, etc. The room is very big. The room has one queen bed and one single bed. Both are very cozy. Free prior luggage storage provided for customers who booked a room. The staffs are nice and friendly. Everything is quite clean and new.
GGuest UserThe room was much better than expected, clean and comfortable. Self-service check-in and check-out were quick and convenient. If you don't know how to use it, you can call and ask for patient guidance. If you don't know how to use the access control, you can ask the staff. The location is far from the city center and various attractions, about 30 minutes walk, but you can take the bus.
In summary, it is still a good choice. After all, hotels in Edinburgh are crazy expensive. I will stay in this hotel again.
IIrshadI stayed at the Adelphi Hotel on a recent trip to Edinburgh. It's definitely a budget-friendly option, which was perfect for me. The room itself was clean and functional. The bed was comfy, there was a flat-screen TV to unwind with, and the shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water.
Heads up, there's no breakfast offered at the hotel. I grabbed food at a nearby cafe each morning, which wasn't a problem, but be sure to factor that extra cost into your budget.
The room was a little on the small side, and I heard some noise from outside at times. It's not a fancy hotel, and there aren't any amenities beyond free Wi-Fi.
The location, however, was fantastic. It's just a short walk from the tram stop, and most of Edinburgh's attractions were within a 10-15 minute drive. There's even free parking on-site, which is a major plus in the city.
Overall, the Adelphi Hotel was a decent choice for my short stay. It's perfect if you're on a budget and don't mind a basic room without frills. Just be prepared to find breakfast elsewhere and manage your expectations.
GGuest UserArrived at property same time as another guest and he phoned owner who gave us code to get in and let us know we’re to get keys for room. Room was lovely with tea and coffee facilities and comfy bed. Bathroom sink was blocked. Overall nice accommodation and close to bus stop for town.
