A very special primitive village experience, a Yao village hidden deep in the dense forest. You have to walk through a long rubber forest mountain road to get there. After arriving, it suddenly became clear that this is a poverty alleviation project for professors of the Agricultural University. Now every house has been built very well, compared with several other so-called primitive villages near Jinghong. Meiduo, the inn is operated by a third party. The most special thing is the primitive rainforest hiking project led by a guide, which allows you to experience real wild elephant trails and rainforest adventures.
There is a charge per person to eat, and all are fresh vegetables and fruits grown by local mountain people. The only drawback is that the accommodation conditions are indeed average. The bathroom facilities in my room were poor and the door could not be locked. It was like sleeping with the door open all night. There was no need to worry about safety in this deep mountain forest.
If you are more concerned about accommodation conditions, it is recommended to be mentally prepared. This is not a luxury inn after all. If you are tired of crowded tourist attractions and cookie-cutter shopping streets, and want to experience the authentic Xishuangbanna primitive cottages and undeveloped dense forests, this is definitely the right place to come. Special thanks go to the Agricultural University doctoral student who took us to visit the village, and to the guide who hiked in the rainforest.

I planned a night trip to the Botanical Garden, so I booked this place. The town is not big and there are not many hotels to choose from. It is very convenient to drive by yourself. It has its own parking lot. When I checked in in the evening, the thin girl at the front desk ignored me and refused to answer any questions I asked. When I checked out in the morning, the fat girl at the front desk was very happy and enthusiastic. I gave this fat girl good reviews. The room is clean, not very big, but the bedding is very comfortable, and the cleaning lady is very prompt and responsive. The buffet breakfast is enough for 20 people. There is no view outside the balcony window, and there is still a factory downstairs, which always makes noises, but it is relatively quiet later in the evening. Dianping said that Thai food can be eaten at a nearby restaurant with a relatively high rating. It is delicious and not expensive. Overall satisfied.

This hotel was amazing. It’s only a year old but the amenities look like it’s brand new and inside of the room seems no different from a five-star. The only thing missing was a bathroom scale. Nice courtyard pool below just big enough to do some short laps and a kilometer from the night market. Interesting little area and they have street side eatery outside with a good view. The best part though is the manager Mr. Wu was exceptionally helpful. When he saw me arriving by bicycle, he did everything he could to make my stay more pleasant and even offered to go the extra mile with extra service and help. An unbelievable bargain, and a nice end to my journey.

The kids wanted to take a night trip to the Botanical Garden and stayed here for two nights. The girl at the front desk is very enthusiastic. The hotel is also very new. The interior is small and has intelligent control facilities. It is hygienic and it is quite quiet at night. The location is very close to the north gate of the Botanical Garden, and a 10-minute walk from the west gate. There is a vegetable market nearby where you can buy fruits. The barbecue at the entrance of the vegetable market is delicious, and there is also a supermarket and pharmacy, which is very convenient.

WWangying春節期間勐臘果然人少，店鋪開門營業也不多，慢悠悠的生活節奏～早點每天幾乎一樣，水煮蛋，兩個清炒素菜（西葫蘆，大白菜），炒飯，炒米線，蒸餃，饅頭，包子等，煎蛋，我喜歡吃米線，天天都一碗。不喜歡豆漿，水沖的太淡了，粥都煮開花，不錯，涼拌菜的木耳好吃，菜基本不辣，這裡帶小朋友的不少，一頓飯都看見十幾個。不能早餐管飽沒有問題。對了，還有西瓜🍉。
