"The location is super convenient! A ten-minute walk to the left takes you to Qiulin Company and Fendou Food Store, and another ten minutes gets you to the Provincial Museum. To the right, there are many snack bars and BBQ stalls, and if you keep walking, you'll reach the Church of the Intercession. It's also a short taxi or subway ride to Central Street or the riverside. Out of all the hotels I stayed at during my 10-day trip to Harbin, this one had the most convenient transportation.
It seems they host a lot of group bookings, as there were always guests waiting to check in at the front desk every day. So, available rooms might be limited and you should book quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, very patient and meticulous, and even assisted me with contacting a courier (੭ •_•)📦"

"The hotel's location is excellent, especially close to St. Sophia Cathedral and relatively near the subway, making getting around very convenient. The room was quite clean. I stayed on a higher floor, which was quiet, and the hot water supply was plentiful, completely unaffected by the higher floor. The hotel breakfast was quite rich, and I highly recommend purchasing it (currently, there's a promotion where you get breakfast vouchers if you become a member). The staff's service attitude was also great; they responded to messages almost instantly (the recommended 'Guo Bao Rou' dish was indeed delicious). The only downside was that being on a high floor made waiting for the elevator quite troublesome."

The hotel itself is good, although it is starting to show its age a little. Still, the location more than makes up for it.

"For my trip to Harbin this time, I specifically chose to stay at the Longmen Guesthouse Hotel, and it was an excellent choice! This building, constructed in 1901, is a Class I protected heritage site. It's essentially a living museum, having previously served as significant venues like the Chinese Eastern Railway Administration Hotel and the Russian Consulate. What a storied past! Historical figures such as Marshal Zhang Xueliang and Pu Jie and his wife once stayed here, and General Chen Geng even hosted Qian Xuesen within its walls. Its location is also incredibly convenient, right in the heart of the railway station's South Square, making it super easy to get to St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street. The guest rooms are bright, clean, and elegantly decorated, beautifully blending the historic charm of the old architecture with modern comforts. Touching the century-old wooden windows feels like turning the pages of a three-dimensional history book – the overall experience was truly wonderful."

"The location of the Whole Season Hotel Harbin Central Street Sofia Square store is absolutely amazing. Just a few steps out the door, you're on Central Street and at St. Sophia Cathedral, making sightseeing and photos super convenient. My DJI card suddenly burned out this trip, and luckily, a DJI store was directly across from the hotel. So, I just stayed at the hotel until 9:30 PM before heading out to replace the card. It was a bit heartbreaking that the previous day's footage couldn't be saved, but at least it didn't delay our subsequent trip to the Siberian Tiger Park. Plus, Central Street has so many delicious eateries! We checked off must-try Northeastern cuisine, Russian food, and iron pot stew all in the vicinity. The hotel was comfortable to stay in, and getting around was worry-free. Overall, it was a good experience. We spent three days in Harbin and explored Central Street every single day! My parents even complimented me on booking such a great hotel."

"I originally planned to stay around Central Street when I came to Harbin, but the accommodation prices there were quite high.
**Value for Money**: I stumbled upon this recently opened hotel, located in a quiet area, and the price was truly affordable.
**Decor**: Upon closer inspection, the overall decor is elegantly designed with clean lines, and the soft furnishings and ornaments show thoughtful touches everywhere, with meticulous attention to detail.
The guest room was spotless, with no dust on surfaces, no water stains or hidden corners in the bathroom, and the bedding was dry and tidy. The housekeeping was excellent.
Although it's not in the core business district, transportation access is smooth, and the overall stay was peaceful and comfortable. It’s perfect for resting and rejuvenating away from the city's hustle and bustle. This unexpected find was a pleasant surprise and definitely worth recommending."

Facilities: Everything, from the inside out, feels brand new. The layout is well-designed and controls are easy to use. The bathroom is spacious with a great wet/dry separation.
Environment: It's very close to Harbin Station, less than a 10-minute walk away, and bus route 118 runs over the bridge nearby. There's also a small convenience store right next to the hotel, which is super handy. The soundproofing is excellent too, it's very quiet! Parking isn't very convenient though, so drivers should take note.
Service: The front desk staff are all very professional, polite, warm, and attentive, without being overbearing – absolutely lovely!
Cleanliness: It's genuinely, genuinely clean; a very comfortable stay.

Guest UserCheck-in and check-out are always super fast! All the front desk staff and the cleaning service on the fourth floor are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms are consistently clean and fresh. The hotel is located right on Central Street, with excellent bus connections to everywhere. Compared to other hotels nearby, the value for money and service attitude here are simply perfect! The lovely front desk lady even gave us a small gift when we checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch. We'll definitely be staying here again for the October holiday.

Haiyan·SeasaltI've transited through Harbin multiple times, and this time I chose a new hotel to stay at, which offered a much better experience. They provide free shuttle service every half hour, allowing for flexible arrival times. The room was also more spacious, clean, and hygienic. The best part is that since the area near the airport is quite desolate and ordering food can be inconvenient, the front desk offers meal service until 9 PM, and the prices are very reasonable. Compared to other options, this place definitely has an advantage; it offers great value for money!

We decided to spend a little extra money going to Harbin because we wanted to make sure we were comfortable. The check-in process was very convenient, beds comfortable, room spacious. The front desk receptionists were also very helpful, especially on Chinese New Year’s Eve.
The soundproofing is not amazing—we could hear a lot of the conversations outside the room in the hallway. The shower also wasn’t great. For such an expensive room, we expected better. After one day of use, the water stopped draining and started to pool. If the shower was longer than 5-7 minutes, the water was probably going to overflow. And then it took forever to drain completely. The toilet is a smart toilet, but it’s also very loud and has a neon blue light that doesn’t shut off at night.
There’s no door separating the bedroom area from the washroom area, and the room darkening curtains are only fully covering the windows in the bedroom, so a lot of sunlight comes through the bathroom area, which was not super convenient.
The room was definitely a non-smoking room and never smelled of cigarette smoke. However, the lobby oftentimes smelled of cigarettes. This was fixed with spraying some sort of perfume, but a bit disappointing that the public spaces were not kept smoke-free.
There’s a delivery robot, free self-service laundry, and breakfast in the basement. The location is not super centrally located, and because Harbin is cold in the winter, it’s easier to take taxis to the center of the city than it is to walk or attempt to take the metro! Overall, the staff was very friendly and the hotel was nice, but I would definitely try to find somewhere nicer and or closer to the city center for a better price if I were to come back.

Guest UserThe hotel is really close to the airport, just about one or two kilometers away, and their shuttle service to and from the airport is excellent. For an airport hotel, the breakfast is quite good, with several freshly cooked dishes, meat, milk, soy milk, and some fruit. The staff are also very enthusiastic and proactive, offering bottled water and disposable toiletries, which is a nice touch.

The room was incredibly warm and comfortable. The smart toilet in the bathroom, along with the wet and dry separation, was a nice touch, and the space was very generous. The projector had excellent clarity. The location is also fantastic, and from the river view room, you can see the river's surface, which is absolutely beautiful.

Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area.
Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting.
Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀
Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

The location is super convenient, just a short walk to Central Street and Metro Line 3, making it easy to get to the high-speed rail station and other places. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. They also offer afternoon tea, coffee, and lemon water – it was so refreshing to have a drink after coming back to the hotel. They even provide special slippers and toothbrushes for children. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit!

The moment you push open the hotel’s heavy wooden door, you’re struck by a dramatic contrast: outside, temperatures can plunge to minus 20 degrees Celsius, while inside, the space is warmly heated and filled with the soft, comforting tones of wood. This sharp contrast creates a deep sense of “safety” that many travelers find especially reassuring in extreme winter destinations.
The location is highly convenient. Numerous restaurants and entertainment facilities are nearby, making it easy to dine out or explore without long travel times. I was particularly drawn to the hotel’s Russian-style architecture—its pointed roofs, wooden structures, and strong geometric lines. These elements are not just decorative; they are practical designs shaped by the realities of heavy snowfall in high-latitude regions.
Heating at the hotel is excellent. Even in the depths of winter, it’s comfortable enough to wear short sleeves indoors while watching snowflakes drift past the window.
