"This place is super close to Central Station, just a 1-2 minute walk, and the 401 bus stop for Daegu Airport is also nearby. The front desk is open 24 hours, and the staff are really friendly and helpful – you can even store your luggage there. Breakfast is simple but decent: cereal, coffee, toast, long-life milk, orange juice, and a choice of three Korean instant noodles, served from 7 AM to 11 AM. Dinner is from 6 PM to 9 PM. The room itself is very spacious and newly decorated, though there was a noticeable 'new decor' smell when we arrived, so we had to open the windows to air it out. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough, but the bathroom tended to pool water easily, and there wasn't much space to put clothes."

The rooms were neatly maintained and the bedding was comfortable.

"I stayed for 2 nights. Excellent hotel. Extensive renovations have recently been completed.
Pros:
• 5-7 minutes from Dong Daegu Station;
• Newly renovated;
• Bathrobes, slippers, and all necessary toiletries (toothbrush and toothpaste, razor, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, washcloth, soap);
• Hairdryer, refrigerator, and air conditioning in the room;
• Free coffee machine and water dispenser in the reception area;
• Multi-charger for all types of cords.
Cons:
• The staff doesn't speak English (but this is minor);
• Only small towels; at least one large one would be nice;
• Limited storage space - a foldable hanger would be great.
The room is small, but for the price, it's a great option. I recommend it."

"I've stayed in multiple Brown Dot hotels from Songtan to Busan and now here in Daegu. This is probably the nicest one of them all so far! Love the old brick style and the decor to go with it. The location is great as it's right in the city. Walking distance from a Korean-styled Starbucks that's very popular. This is the first time I've ever used a Kiosk to check-in and out which was very convenient with an English option. I must say that the check-in time is probably the latest I've ever experienced which is 5pm, but I was able to leave my luggage in the dining area with no issue then come back. Definitely might try to stay here again if I come back and the price was great as I'm a Diamond Tier Trip.com user so it was only $56 including tax"

"This is my second time staying at Daegu Dongcheng February Hotel. The service is very good, the facilities are great, there is a comfortable massage chair on the second floor, which can relieve fatigue after walking. The coffee at Starbucks is super delicious, the bed is very soft and it is very comfortable to sleep on. The style of the whole hotel is very high-end, and the shampoo and shower gel are also very comfortable to use. The hotel is very high-end and very good overall. The staff are proactive in service. It is my first choice for hotels in Daegu."

Opened in 2025, the Hotel Felice Dongchon, Daegu is a great accommodation choice in Daegu. The hotel is only 2km from Dongdaegu Station and 2km from Daegu International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. In addition, Dongchon Metro Station is just a short walk away. This hotel is located near many of Daegu's attractions including Lingnan No.1 Pass, Ayang Bridge and Ayang Art Center. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Daegu hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service.
"As a solo traveler from Hong Kong, I felt this was more of an upscale, newly renovated motel, or even a love hotel. The room amenities were excellent, including a sterilizing wardrobe, bathtub, electric bidet, charging dock, air purifier, sofa, 65-inch smart TV, satellite channels, YouTube, and even a desktop computer. It would have been even more perfect with hand soap at the sink and shower gel/shampoo next to the tub.
The staff were also very patient and friendly. Although they didn't speak foreign languages, they handled customer complaints well. I booked this place through Trip.com, but there was no mention of window issues. The pictures seemed to show windows, but the room I was assigned was in the basement with a decorative window that, when opened, only revealed a wall. I requested a room with a scenic window. Despite the language barrier, the staff politely explained that changing rooms would incur an extra charge. In the end, we both compromised and resolved it fairly, and I was moved to a third-floor room with a scenic window. The staff handled the situation perfectly and patiently.
I believe the misunderstanding arose because the online listing didn't specify that rooms at this price either had no windows or no view, leading guests to misinterpret the photos.
I highly recommend this hotel. The area is very lively at night, with more restaurants than the city center. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest Dongchon Subway Station, passing through the popular Dongchon Amusement Park tourist attraction. There's also a bicycle rental shop next to the subway station! Very good."

KKathrinHI had a very pleasant stay at Prana Hotel in Hyunpoong. The hotel is very new, and you can immediately feel the modern and well-thought-out design throughout the entire property. Everything is clean, fresh, and maintained to a high standard.
What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff - very fluent in English! The reception team in particular was extremely welcoming, helpful, and professional, making check-in and the overall stay very smooth and comfortable.
The hotel also offers very convenient parking, which is a big plus if you are traveling by car. In addition, the fitness center is well-equipped and perfect for maintaining your routine while staying there.
A nice extra is the small bar, which provides a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. You can enjoy a selection of drinks like beer and gin & tonic, along with some snacks — a simple but very appreciated touch.
Overall, Prana Hotel is an excellent choice in Hyunpoong if you are looking for a modern, comfortable stay with great service. I booked already another stay next week.

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at Nampo Radiant Hotel! Check-in went very smoothly, and we received clear instructions well in advance. Our room was spacious and located on the 18th floor with a beautiful city view – such a nice bonus! Everything in the room worked perfectly, and we honestly couldn’t find a single downside.
The location is great – just a short walk from several food markets and the famous Jagalchi Market. It takes about an hour to get to the beach, but we didn’t mind at all – it was totally worth it! Overall, a wonderful hotel that we would happily stay at again.

GGuest UserJust walk 5 to 7 minutes to subway, a convenient location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Restaurants ranging from Cafe, crepes, bakery, Korean food or Japanese food for your choices. The hotel itself is fantastic no matter for its cleanliness and services. A very comfortable bed and pillow with spacious and cozy. Besides, a simple breakfast but is is good enough to fresh you up. The perfect location is easy for you to walk around or convenient to connect subway for many interest points or attractions.

LLagertha14The accommodation is very comfortable with complete facilities. Although we arrived before check-in time, the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage. During our stay, the hotel was under renovation. We had reserved breakfast, but it was not available, so the hotel refunded us and upgraded our room for one night. However, we had to move to a different room the next night due to ongoing renovations. The room conditions matched the pictures shown. The staff was lovely and, despite not speaking English, made great efforts to assist us.
There are convenience stores and numerous restaurants around the hotel, making it very convenient for work. Transportation is easy, with a bus stop within walking distance.
If there is an opportunity, we will stay here again.

GGuest UserThe location is near Central Station, with many bars and restaurants nearby, and it's also very convenient for shopping. The electronic wardrobe is a big plus. The soundproofing is a bit poor; the noise from next door cleaning is quite noticeable. The bathroom doesn't have a door, and the shower area isn't properly separated, so water gets all over the bathroom and sink area.

The bed was quite spacious, enough for two people to sleep in.
Most amenities were provided, so I felt like I could get by without anything, lol.
There were also about three different types of hairbrushes in the room, so I was able to choose and try out different ones, which was nice.
The shower and toilet aren't separated by a wall, but the room is spacious, so the toilet didn't get too messy.
The staff member who checked me in and out was different, but both of them were very friendly and chatty, which made for a very enjoyable experience.
I did pass the cleaning staff in the morning, and they greeted me with a smile, too. They were all very nice.
Of course, there was water in the refrigerator, but instead of the usual one bottle, there were four, lol. (My friend's room also had four, so that seems to be the default.)
It was summer, so it was very helpful!
Mixed coffee and green tea bags were also included.
I was given something like a free breakfast ticket when I checked in, but I didn't have time to go.
When I checked out in the morning, I saw the staff painstakingly preparing breakfast and I knew I definitely wanted to try it next time.
The easiest way to access it from the station was to cross the road on the train station side and take the transparent elevator down near the bus stop.
It seems like you can get there from other locations, but I wasn't sure so I didn't venture out and just used that method to get there every time.
There didn't seem to be anything particularly special about the facilities nearby.
It seemed like there was a Mega Coffee shop and other restaurants about a 10-minute walk away, but it was on the opposite side of the station so I thought it would be better to just hop on the train and go somewhere else.

GGuest UserGood enough for the price. If you are arriving late or early, make sure you contact the host in advance. They really close at 10 pm and opens the next day after 8 am. I almost was not able to enter, if not for other Korean guests who called the receptionist.
Also, I did not feel safe with the combination lock. Somebody else who knows the combination can just enter the room.
