With a stay at Hotel Trend Tobu Asakusa-Eki Kita in Tokyo (Taito), you'll be steps from Asakusa EKIMISE Shopping Center and Sensoji Temple. Make yourself at home in one of the 50 guestrooms featuring refrigerators and flat-screen televisions. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms with shower/tub combinations feature deep soaking bathtubs and complimentary toiletries. Conveniences include desks and electric kettles, and housekeeping is provided daily.

"Hotel room is small but great location extremely close to Senso-ji temple and Nakamise-dori stretching 250 meters with roughly 90 traditional stalls. Free luggage storages before check in time and after check out. 2nd time checked in to this hotel. Location offers good value for the price. Subway/train to Haneda or Narita airport is about 20 mins walk to Asakusa A18. It is advisable to use Elevator A2b if you have heavy luggages as walking down the stairs is horrendous. Would like to suggest hotel management to install water dispenser near to pantry areas so as to convenient guests to get hot or cold water for drinks."

"Great location, especially suitable for solo travellers. The toiletries are well provided, making the stay very convenient. Although the space is shared with other guests, everyone is respectful, and there is still a good sense of personal space. I stayed for three nights and was very satisfied throughout—there was no disturbance at all."

"I'm a Korean who's been to China three times, but this was my first trip to Japan. I spent 4 nights and 5 days at this capsule hotel. <What I liked> 1. The hotel's location is pretty good. In Korean terms, it's like Gwanghwamun and Yeouido. In Chinese terms, it's around Tiananmen/The Bund. It's in the heart of Tokyo, so getting around was easy. 2. The interior facilities are incredibly clean. From the hotel itself to the sauna and restrooms, you can see staff constantly cleaning. It always smelled nice too. 3. The sauna was just... amazing. It completely wiped away all the fatigue from traveling. While the capsule hotel space isn't huge, the common lounge area made up for it. 4. The staff's service was very polite. I don't speak Japanese, but English and non-verbal communication were more than enough to get the help I needed. <What I found disappointing> 1. The sauna was so perfect that I didn't even need a bath basket, but there was a toothbrush but no toothpaste... ;;; That was a bit of a letdown. I also wondered if they could provide toner/lotion. 2. The capsule hotel provides earplugs. However, they were a bit too small for me. They kept falling out while I was sleeping... So, on the second day, I personally bought new earplugs (3M is the best) from Family Mart. 3. There are three storage spaces in total: the hotel, the shower room, and the shoe locker. But the storage space wasn't very generous. <Overall Impression> - Overall, it was an excellent capsule hotel. The facilities, cleanliness, and service were all up to par. What's more, the sauna really won me over. I'm still looking for saunas even after returning to Korea. - Besides the sleeping areas, there are also lounge areas and a restaurant. I highly recommend checking them out. There's a good variety of food, and ending the day with a beer or sake feels great. - On rainy days, the subway... The Tokyo subway had a fresh, soapy scent (??). I've never had any issues with smells anywhere in Tokyo, and this hotel was no exception."

"The location is fantastic, very close to Senso-ji Temple. The nearest Asakusa Line station is less than a five-minute walk away and even has an elevator. There are plenty of shops nearby, so you won't have to worry about finding food. If you walk a bit further, there's a department store with Uniqlo, 3coins, GU, and Muji. Overall, it's excellent! However, the storage space under the bed isn't very large, so those with big suitcases should take that into consideration. The bathroom and toilet were both very satisfactory; they were cleaned daily, and toiletries were provided. The hairdryer was also quite powerful."

Hotel near Akihabara,Tokyo
Akihabara Bay Hotel - Located in central Tokyo, this hotel is ideal for female travelers, just a 5-minute drive from Tokyo Dome and the Tokyo Imperial Palace. This capsule hotel is 3.4 km from Sensoji Temple and 4.2 km from Tokyo Skytree. Enjoy convenient amenities including free Wi-Fi, a TV in the common area, and vending machines. It also features a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free Wi-Fi provides internet access. Bathrooms are equipped with showers, bidets, and hairdryers. Convenient facilities like washing machines and dryers are available, along with daily housekeeping service.

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Yodobashi Camera, offering plenty of electronics, and the mall has a wide variety of food and goods. However, the hotel itself is a bit too small. There are no common areas for working or handling other tasks. It's similar to a capsule hotel, so the beds are very small and narrow – there isn't even space to open a suitcase, which is inconvenient for women, especially those with a lot of belongings. On the plus side for women, the bathroom shower amenities are very comprehensive and work well; there are even lotions, which is a thoughtful touch. My bed curtain had some dirty spots, but the hotel seems to be cleaned daily, meaning they tidy up your belongings. Still, it's just too small. I understand the bed is small, as it's just for sleeping, but other storage spaces are also tiny. The most crucial point is the lack of common areas. I hope the hotel can reconsider its layout."

"(Continued from previous review) The hallway was quite dark, with a full-length mirror at the end. Near the elevator, there were recycling and combustible waste bins. My two-night stay was on the second floor. The elevator was a lifesaaver since I had a huge suitcase. Upon entering, it was a small, square room with tatami mats, reminiscent of the Showa era. The entrance had a narrow space for taking off shoes. There were communal slippers for going out in the room, but I didn't use them as I brought my own. I placed my sneakers on the wooden board behind the trash can. Though small, the room had everything – a mini-fridge, a small TV, and a small tea table with teacups. My suitcase fit perfectly upright next to the tea table. The bedding was thick and clean, and surprisingly, there was even a Japanese yukata to use as sleepwear. The yukata couldn't be exchanged during the stay, but if needed, large bath towels and face towels could be swapped at the front desk the next day. Each floor had a long sink for brushing teeth and washing faces. Additionally, the restroom had separate stalls for Western and squat toilets, with urinals outside. The restrooms were not gender-specific, but I managed to avoid other guests during my stay and exclusively used the squat toilet, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. Although the facilities are a bit old, everything was smooth and convenient. I would consider this inn again next time I need to save some money."

"The location is fabulous! Less than 10 minutes walk to the JR station and less than 5 minutes walk to the Ginza and Hibiya Lines. The room is slightly bigger than the hotels I used to stay at and breakfast is free, which is always nice. The room key is an actual key with a heavy key chain, and needs to be disposited at the front desk before heading out or going for the free breakfast. It's really quite convenient and I don't mind not taking the key with me when I go out. Very friendly and helpful staff! I travel to Tokyo every year and I will definitely stay again!"

"Convenient location and close to JR Ueno and Tokyo Metro station but expect a long walk until reaching the fare gates. Only one road crossing to get to the closest gate of JR Ueno's Iriya gate which takes around 300m from the hotel to the fare gates but Tokyo Metro station is further away of around 500-600m walk. The closet conbini is FamilyMart which is just 150m away and there are plenty of restaurant around. The room size is just right (not too big or too small) which looks clean and modern. There are vending machine, washer/dryer, and microwave at the ground floor."

Very well located, next to a lot of convenient places and the subway station. It’s self check in via Ipads, but sometimes there is staff working there which is very friendly, especially one of the cleaning girls, she always smiles and laughs which makes you feel welcomed and comfortable to be around. Will be back soon :)

The location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It's surrounded by wholesale streets full of affordable clothing, as well as many small restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores. Usually, it's very quiet, but this time there was a large construction site next door that was quite noisy, even late at night and on weekends. The environment is decent and relatively clean; there's no waiting for the toilet or shower. Unfortunately, the shower room had a rather strong odor. The service was very professional.

Good price for a capsule within walking distance of a JR station that reaches ikebukuro and Shinjuku pretty fast. Even has an onsen and sauna! Has a chill area to read manga and buy beer also. Staff also friendly and speaks English which is good to not get lost Only downside is the baggage area is quite messy and feels a bit dirty

The bathroom and toilet are extremely inconvenient. There's no space to move around, and the shower is right inside the toilet area. The toilet is also directly in the room, so everything happening in there is very audible, and then some. Overall, it's just uncomfortable. The room was cold, and the air conditioner was very noisy and dried out the air. No matter how you adjust it, it will blow directly on you. Overall, it's a very old hotel, although they do maintain cleanliness. It has a Japanese style. I wouldn't stay here again, but the location is excellent. If there are no other options, I would recommend it.

I checked in the night before CM107 Day 2. For just over 100 per night, and with its super convenient location for taking the Seagull to Odaiba (or the Monorail to the airport), the price is definitely unbeatable. The subway Daimon Station is right downstairs, along with convenience stores. Staff service made check-in easy. The bed was quite firm, which I actually found comfortable after not sleeping well on soft beds the previous two nights. There's a light inside the capsule, but only one two-pin socket, which was a bit insufficient.

The condition is better than I expected, it's easy to get to Asakusa, and you can walk to the subway in less than 5 minutes. There are many restaurants nearby and convenience stores such as Lawson, Family Mart, and 7-Eleven are located within 5 minutes. First of all, the private bathroom is not in the room. It's outside. We used the second floor and were in rooms 201 and 202. If there are two rooms, there are two toilets and two bathrooms outside, which are used exclusively for the room. I don't have any pictures, so I'll just post a picture of the bathroom. It was nice that each item was separate. There aren't any downsides, but the owner was a bit harsh but not unfriendly. Still, I had a good stay. For 3 nights and 4 days And one thing is that the door is locked after 12 o'clock!!! Please note this! Have a nice trip to Japan everyone😆
