"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is new, modern, and very comfortable. Although it’s about a 10-minute walk from the train station, the location is still convenient for getting around. The breakfast, which we paid for, featured a wide variety of fresh Hokkaido-grown produce and delicious local specialties, making it a great way to start the day. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided for guests, including complimentary snacks, an assortment of teas, coffee, and ice water available throughout the day. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."

"This hotel is excellent overall, with a superb location just a 4-minute walk from Susukino subway station. All facilities and services are satisfying, and the environment is exceptionally clean. The hotel features separate floors for men and women (including separate elevators and floors), significantly enhancing privacy and safety. The self-check-in system is also very convenient, minimizing unnecessary human contact. ☃️ The hotel provides disposable slippers daily. Although there's no daily room cleaning service, it doesn't affect the overall experience at all. I stayed in a deluxe room on the 7th floor. Guests on this floor are generally very considerate, always tidying up after using public facilities, making the entire floor feel clean and comfortable. The bed in the deluxe room is spacious and can comfortably accommodate two people. The only minor drawback is that you have to continuously press a button to keep the shower running; it doesn't provide continuous water flow once turned on. You need to press it every few tens of seconds, which is a bit inconvenient. 🥹"

"We stayed at this hotel from January 17th to 22nd, 2026. It's incredibly convenient, located just a two-minute walk from Exit 12 of Odori Subway Station. The hotel entrance on the ground floor isn't very obvious; it looks more like an office building. You need to take the elevator to the 4th floor for the reception desk. The rooms were clean, and the bathhouse on the 4th floor was very comfortable – we used it every day. There's also a fitness center, but we definitely preferred relaxing in the bathhouse. What truly left the deepest impression during our stay was an incident where my son fell while skiing at Teine and injured himself. He didn't feel much pain at the moment of the fall, but the next morning, after coughing, he experienced severe abdominal pain, and we urgently needed to find a hospital. We went to the hotel reception for assistance. Mr. Sato (Hiroiku Sato) was on duty that morning, and he must have sensed our anxiety and worry. He patiently helped us by calling clinics one by one, contacting three different ones. He explained my son's symptoms to the hospitals and asked if they could schedule an appointment for us. Finally, he reached Yagi Orthopedic Hospital, which not only offered Chinese-speaking services but also successfully booked an appointment for us. Mr. Sato was genuinely kind, incredibly patient, and provided exceptional service. We are deeply grateful for his help, which alleviated our worries during the trip and allowed us to complete our journey safely. Here, we'd like to once again thank all the dedicated staff at San Gran Hotel for their hospitality, and a special thank you to Mr. Sato."

Within walking distance to convenient store and many eating places Room reasonably size, we have tatami style, no complains, we slept well There is a nice seafood restaurant just besides the hotel, where we feasted on king crab, love it ! Within walking distance to the shopping street too, and Sapporo clock tower."

"⭐️ Stayed in a mixed dorm room & was a bit worried at first - but pleasantly surprised at the end 💚PROS + staff is very kind and helpful and there is someone at the front desk almost all the time (night excluded) + they organize summer festivals and get-togethers with their Odori Park Partner Hostel + real big and comfortable beds & a lockable drawer + towel & 2 clotheshangers + clean showers & bathrooms + great showergels + washer & dryer + washroom area on 10th floor that’s usable 24/7 + nice and comfortable common rooms, with fridge, cooking- & washing area & free tea/coffee + great subway & bus connections + great attractions in walkable distance + rooms get cleaned daily & your bedding gets changed every 4 days ❤️🩹 CONS - would’ve loved more storage space next to my bed! 🌱 Really loved this hostel & spend my 8 nights there very comfortably! Most of my roommates were nice and abided by the rules set by the hostel - if i were to travel to Sapporo again, i would choose to stay there again 💗"

"Location is great. Close to nakajjma koen subway, 3 stops away from sapporo station subway. From airport, if by bus, there is airport bus that requires additional 13 minutes walk from bus stop to hotel. Definitely not recommended for those with heavy luggage with slippery/thick snow, to walk that far. It feels like 1 hour and risk of falling. Lawson is just at the corner. Checked in using code given, self service. Communication F2F was tricky, as using lots of google translate.Messages through tips, take a while for them to reply. Microwave at lobby and level 2. Extra amenities can pick up by yourself at lobby (hair brush, towels, razor, cotton buds) Washing machine at level 2 (5 kg load - 300 yen for 30 min), but dryer not working at all (100 yen for 30 min) Overall, if you just need place to sleep,not too fancy, this is great place to stay"
