"Here is a natural traveler-style review in English: I had a really comfortable stay at Hotel Sunplaza in Shin-Imamiya. The hotel felt safe, clean, and was perfect for travelers looking for good value. The location is one of its biggest advantages—it’s just a short walk from Shin-Imamiya Station, where you can take the direct Nankai Airport Express to Kansai International Airport (KIX), making airport transfers incredibly convenient. There are also plenty of convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and Don Quijote within walking distance, so shopping and finding food is never a problem. Popular areas like Shinsekai, Tsutenkaku, and Namba are also easily accessible. If you’re looking for an affordable hotel with a great location, easy airport access, and everything you need nearby, I would definitely recommend Hotel Sunplaza. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Osaka. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"I spent several weeks at 3u Namba. The receptionists were always very pleasant and often helped me keep the same room between reservations. There's a significant dust problem because of the carpet everywhere, leading to dust bunnies all over, so if you have allergies, you should be aware of this. The location is perfect, close to stations, and the showers are generally clean. My only very personal negative point is that I find it a bit disappointing when you've been staying for several weeks and have to check out for just one night because the hotel is full, only to have to wait until 3 pm the next day for check-in. A bit more flexibility for regular guests would be a real plus. The rooms are good, but the view really depends on your luck. Thank you for the stay, and I will return. I recommend it if it's less than €20 per night outside of peak season."

"I stayed alone for one night and it was quite convenient to get to the airport the next morning. For the price of a capsule hotel, you get a private room with AC, a TV, and a fridge, though there's no space to lay out your luggage. The area isn't the safest, but there are convenience stores and restaurants around. The vending machines are very cheap, and there's a takoyaki place with good food. Overall, it's great value for money."

"Used on a business trip. It was well cleaned, and there was a water server and microwave on each floor, which was convenient. The beds were soft. (It seems to have been a love hotel before) The rooms are now clean, I was able to stay at a reasonable price for a business hotel, and the front desk staff were friendly, so I'm glad I used it. There was a delicious yakiniku restaurant nearby. I would like to use it again."

"The room has all the ingredients - single and non-one shoes, pijama-kimono, razor blades, watt sticks, hairdresser etc. all you can imagine. The hotel is quiet, the neighbors are not heard. Staff is friendly and responsive. 10 minutes walk from the Castle Hotel in Osaka with a park, very beautiful. Of course the room is small but it is a feature of many rooms in Japan"

"Awesome 1 night stay at this hotel. Kyocera Dome is near to the hotel as it was hosting an event called KANSAI COLLECTION 2026. There is AEON Mall around about 10mins walk. A lot of varieties of food. I will stay here again if there is any event that I am interested at Kyocera Dome."

"This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and overall, this one was great. Even with my mild潔癖 (germaphobia) and light sleep, I found it perfectly acceptable. The hotel hosts guests from all over the world, and during my stay, everyone on my floor was quiet and considerate. The hotel provides a full set of toiletries, including facial cleanser, toner, and lotion, as well as hair dryers and curling irons. The front desk was incredibly accommodating to all requests (if you don't speak Japanese and struggle with English, using AI translation apps like Doubao is super convenient and accurate! 👍). However, they don't provide umbrellas on rainy days, so remember to bring your own. One minor downside: I found a slipper left by a previous guest in the luggage storage area. While it didn't really affect my stay, I hope the hotel pays a bit more attention to cleaning. The area nearby is very quiet, with a Family Mart and a few restaurants. Even coming back at 10 PM, the streets weren't crowded; mostly just commuters, and I didn't encounter any strange people. P.S. If you're arriving via the **red Midosuji Line** and have a lot of luggage, it's really not advisable to use exit 23 due to the stairs! **Honmachi Station** has three lines, and walking through the station is a super long journey with many stairs, which can be a nightmare during rush hour! I recommend taking the elevator from the exit circled in the picture (the map doesn't specify the exact exit number, but essentially, after exiting the elevator, you'll be on the roadside, facing a TASAKI store) and then walking to the hotel. It's a bit of a distance to the hotel but entirely flat, and following navigation makes it easy. The other two lines are relatively better, so you can choose an elevator exit closer to the street level."
