1 Bedroom home, with great long-range mountain views. Quiet wooded lot. Great fire pit area. Close to great trails for hiking, ATVs. The house is located on a dirt road. There is parking for at least 4 cars, but a large trailer may be difficult to park. The master bedroom has a king-size bed. The great room has a Murphy bed with a very comfortable queen size mattress. And, there is also a queen size soft bed. The laundry area also has s a queen-sized air mattress that you can use on the queen size sleeper sofa to help with comfort. Near the fire pit is a patio with table and chairs to enjoy the views. There MAY be a FIRE BAN in place when you are interested in coming. Please check the Tonto Forest web site for alert ban status at https://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/tonto/alerts-notices I will have a sign on the fire pit if I know there is a ban in place. But, it changes often, according to the weather, etc. I do not control the state fire ban laws. Safety is important! About pets:Pets allowed.Please ask me about your dog first..About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Adults only.About customRules:There is some wood provided for the fire pit. Great home base to see the rim. We will be back again for sure. Faye was amazing to deal with. We loved the decor throughout the place. Great patio and can’t wait to go back during a non burn time of year. My wife even bought Faye’s book. Loved this hidden gem

The property was very quiet and the house was spacious and fully stocked with kitchen equipment, sheets and towels. We were visited by the local wildlife. It was fun to watch them through the windows.

Beautifully appointed home reminding us of our mountain home in Pennsylvania. Perfect for a long weekend get away from phoenix heat. The master bed was so, so comfortable, loved being able to cook with gas/propane once again. Many signs of elk as we hiked up a gravel/dirt road nearby. Discovered all we really needed to do was sit on the patio in the evening, as the elk came up through the trees behind the house. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic trip Our 3 night stay was fantastic . The furniture and decor was amazing and very comfortable. Each morning we had coffee on the deck to plan our day. Perfect distance from Payson area making it convenient for restaurants, antiquing, thrift shopping and hiking. Hope to go back again.

Great stay So cute! Super comfy king sized bed. I thought of tying the mattress to my car & bringing it home. Ha. We were lucky enough to see Elk both evenings. So cool! They walked by so closely. Awkward & majestic! Good clean space & we didn’t need for anything! Hope to return some day! Thank you

Mental health weekend This was such a great, cozy, little place to stay when I needed a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Phoenix. Perfect location, great hosts, very enjoyable stay.
