Staying 5 nights this week we arrived with high expectations from all the great reviews. Being school holidays I would have expected a slightly higher level of accessibility to staff. We checked in via a text which was fine but did try to check in physically several times over our stay but met with the office being closed. This led to lack of information around accessing features of the park. QR code directed info and booking of features is hard with poor internet access through mobile and wifi. I did check on my first and second day on the bath haus still to find the same rubbish left by a previous user and not cleaned out. It made me wonder how clean the water would be. The communal fire was also never lit in our 5 night stay during the school holidays. I’m not sure if the lady cleaning was a staffer or owner but seemed very unprofessional driving around in the buggy smoking on majority of occasions we crossed paths. To me the park seemed very superficially dressed to impress but lacked the depth and care that travellers seek. We enjoyed our stay and were satisfied with our site and amenities. Value for money is ok. Park is quite nice overall with space for kids to ride bikes and kick balls around. River is nice to explore and access to Stanthorpe and local area is easy by car. Road noise isn’t great but it’s expected on the main road out of town.

The chalet exceeded our expectations. It was so cosy, the bed was very comfortable and there was even two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. Sadly we didn’t get time to try the wine barrel spas but they looked as good as the picture in the ad. The river is a short walk from the chalet and apparently is a good fishing spot. The only downside is the separate amenities but the charm of the chalet makes up for this.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautifully maintained caravan park. The new owners—a lovely young family—are clearly passionate about creating a warm, welcoming space, and their hard work is already showing. The service was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The park itself is immaculate, with large, grassy sites that offer plenty of space to relax. The amenities are modern, clean, and well thought out, especially the camp kitchen, which is spotless and fully equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with a smile. One of the highlights was the on-site café—the food was delicious and the wine selection surprisingly impressive for a park café! We can’t wait to return and see what else this amazing family does with the place. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, friendly, and well-run park.

Great little caravan park. Young couple working so hard . Bathrooms clean with extras if you forgot something. A lovely fire pit near the creek to meet fellow campers .Also grab a coffee in the morning or a wine in the evening without living the site. Don’t forget your only minutes away from wineries breweries and national parks. Thanks again Mandy and Blake.

Wow- where to begin. We booked a powered site for the long weekend and did not know which site we had until arrival. We were given a full gravel site- and even though they mentioned leveling these sites due to old grass bumpy sites, I think they should have left them. This site was still very uneven , rock hard and no signs of grass being planted. Then there was the constant bike traffic, foot traffic straight through our site. No dump point????. Although it states WIFI- we had one bar that never worked. They advertise Hot baths for couples. These were not working over a busy long weekend. The male toilets were clean however the showers were quite dirty. We left a day early and still have not received any follow up messages asking why. I know there are new owners but they have plenty of work to do.

Very friendly and helpful new owners, look forward to coming back to see the improvements they have planned, can see already it looks neater and cleaner. Great price, good base for tripping around the wine area, close to town, good sized caravan sites.

Management were very accommodating and helpful for our needs, yet somehow disorganised. The facilities and park were kept clean and tidy, with an exception from the onsite caravans (the mattresses displayed very severe bed bug infestations).

One of the best accommodation I've been so far. Very clean, staff were amazing just like the owner Shonel & Brendan. The diner restaurant is also at the the park, famous with their burgers and fries, food is always delicious! Park is also convenient everywhere, closer to town ...I don't mind coming here on my next visit . Thanks guys for the hospitality!!
