Novotel London Stansted Airport

The first hotel I took my partner the first time she met me in the uk as it was close to the airport … we went back a year later and I did the room up , cannot thank the staff enough there absolutely amazing here helped me get the same room number everything absolute gems

We checked in around midnight, and when we requested ice, we were told it wasn’t available because the bar was closed. In other hotels, this has never been an issue, even when asking for ice at 3 AM. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable—lumpy and of terrible quality. The ventilation was noisy, making it hard to sleep. Another downside is the paid airport transfer. The hotel is not within walking distance, and the shuttle costs £4 per person one way for a 6-minute ride. That means for two people, a round trip adds £16 to the cost of your stay. Decide for yourself whether that’s a fair price. It’s not exactly a typical location for an “airport hotel,” yet they still charge for the transfer. Overall, it’s fine for a quick overnight stay before a flight, but nothing more.

Comfortable hotel in very good location for Stansted airport. There is a reliable shuttle service between hotel and terminal every 30 mins, £4 per person each way.

Very happy with the room apart from one problem the shower is very slippery dangerous for the elderly and/ unstable with no hand rails worth thinking about . Other services good even if simple , the staff attentive and helpful , thank you.

Nice clean modern hotel. Conveniently located near to Stansted airport. Lovely clean room with a very comfortable bed.

It would be better if there could be free shuttle from and to the airport.
