The hotel is right in the middle of the historic Burgenstock Resort a 60 hectares large private ground on the Burgenberg. Nevertheless it takes only 1 minute to the own funicular which brings you to the ship station of Kehrsiten. From there it only takes 25 minutes to the city of Lucerne. When we first arrived at the hotel, the front desk sold us the expensive room in the main building, but we didn't want it because there was no balcony. When we got to the room, it didn't seem to be the balcony room we booked, so we changed it again. The Asian restaurant was quite expensive and didn't taste good. It was Michelin, the standard of a normal Thai restaurant in China. People probably went there just for the view and the spa.

How should I put it? This hotel is a must-stay in Lucerne if you come to Switzerland. Please note that when booking a room through Ctrip, the cheapest mountain view room is in the building next door. You cannot see Lake Lucerne from the window of that building. The building is a little older and smaller. The room overlooking the lake is in another building. It is in the same building as the swimming pool and is more modern. Half of the price of this hotel is for the infinity pool. I highly recommend it.
