My daughter and. I spent 9 nights here on allinclusive the positives first very clean hotel, that’s it negatives the food is absolutely awful, such cheap food the fruit was mouldy in the basket, I have decaff coffee and tea they do no provide this but you can have a decaff coffee if you pay I have never come across the meanness and such poor quality just looking at it made us feel ill we ate out a lot of the time . This is advertised as a 4 star some of the staff were really really rude and as two women on are own it was quite intimidating .The drinks were so limited and such poor quality if you pay they make really nice drink if not do not make any effort to make you dink look nice .the outside of the hotel looks like a war zone on a very very busy main Road the beach across the Road has broken sunbeds rumble and lots of run down bars and rubbish on it we would not recommend this hotel to our worse enemies

The main hotel is lovely. However our allocated room was in an annexe LIA6 across the road with a different name. It was dark, (unable to open curtains as a path was right outside) and basic amenities were lacking - no shower soap, hairdryer, water, kettle (which we know other rooms had). Furniture old looking. Building work was going on in the block, a mattress in the corridor and bins on the second day. We told receptionist we were unhappy with the room and were told ‘ they are all the same’! Thank goodness we were only staying two nights!

On arrival allocated room overlooking top pool but a gallery bedroom with steep polished wood staircase and bathroom downstairs, not good for night visits to bathroom!! Reception staff very good at changing room next morning which was fine although could still hear cockerel at 5 am ! The all inclusive package is not what we have experienced elsewhere - charges for safe, towels, sunbeds and sauna. Drinks were very limited and food, although plentiful, was poor, the same each night but under a different guise. Restaurant I would describe as a work canteen. The small area of beach didn’t seem enticing although the weather may have put us off. Positive points are the cleanliness, our lady was brilliant. Also the young lady on reception was very smiley and helpful sorting our room. Other staff quite surly apart from lady running top pool bar and taking drink orders for dinner and of course the barman, J , very efficient.

Modern hotel set on a the main drag that goes between Stalos & Agia Marina. I stayed for just one week as a solo traveller and the studio was of a decent size with a good firm bed and the balcony overlooked the upper pool. The hotel is spotlessly clean, my room was cleaned 6 out of the 7 days to a very high standard. The hotel has a bridge that crosses the sometimes busy road over to the really lovely beach where there were plenty of sunbeds. It is within easy reach of plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. I only stayed bed & breakfast and the food was adequate, I did end up buying nuts and seeds to have with my Greek yogurt. No real queues at breakfast, just at the 2 domestic toasters, both could do with upgrading and more of them. The food in Stalos and Agia Marina was exceptional quality so I recommend not doing all inclusive if you can as the restaurants are very good. My favourites were Oinomello (turn right out of hotel and walk 1/2 mile) or cozy and Herotiko (left out of hotel, about 1 mile, turn left at petrol station and cozy is on your right, Herotiko slightly further up the hill on the left) The negatives of the hotel - with the exception of the cleaners and the lady working the bar at the top pool who were always friendly and smiling, the rest of the staff, especially the reception staff were disinterested and morose. You can’t really book a meal in the studio, it’s only 2 ring hob, no microwave or toaster. I was up by the upper pool and woken at 4am and kept awake by a rooster at the adjacent property. He was very loud and vocal. As I said the beach in the resort was lovely. The hotels sunbeds are the brown ones right by their bar on the beach and are fairly new looking. What really annoyed me as a solo traveller was that for 2 sunbeds it was 10 euros, for one 7 euros. Yet another single supplement for sole travellers which is really unfair hearing in mind we pay supplements on the accomodation. The person that runs the blue sunbeds right next to the hotel ones only charges 5 euros for 1 sunbed. I would stay here again due to the location and the cleanliness

Another excellent holiday at Creta Palm, our 4th stay at this fabulous location. Very clean and tidy in all areas due to attentive, diligent cleaning staff. Bar and restaurant staff also very friendly and helpful at all times, cannot thank them enough, making our stay an enjoyable one, Jimmy’s special cocktail is highly recommend. Hope to see you all again next year, thank you Eva and all your staff. Kevin & Lynne.

Very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff. Jimmis, the bartender, made excellent cocktails and was such a friendly guy — he also gave great tips!

This is clearly a well established hotel. Pro's: very clean room, friendly and great cleaner, adequate breakfast offering, nice pool. The lady (I didn't catch her name) at the second pool bar is amazing at what she does. Location is great if that's the aort of holiday you like, but our preference would definitely be more remote again in future. Short rransfer from airport. Seems reasonably disability friendly if that is what you need. The rooms were very cool and probably great in the height if summer Cons: some under par areas if you looked close enough, some staff amazing others definitely going though the motions. The additional living room 'beds' are basically just a pew with thin padding in top. I was cold the first night u til i discovered blanketts the following morning. We had a pretty peaceful holiday until someone had the silly idea of having a load if teenage boys come and stay on a school trip. The noise and silliness was ridiculous (as you'd expect) which is why youth hostels etc exist. It did settle down, but not what i needed, expected or wanted when I'd left my own at home.
