Horrible experience, do not go here! We were met by a dirty room, with both filthy kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen had dirty appliances. The walls, sofa, and shelves were dirty. Bugs were crawling all around the room, ants and others. There were even ants in the bed, where I was bit. The bathroom smelt horrid, and there was blood on the cabinets. The shower was filthy, with only cold water. AC in the bedroom did not work, and AC in the rest of the room turned off as soon as there were open doors. The worst was the bloody towel found in our room. The staff were petty and rude, and gave us no compensation. The same goes for Apollo. We ended up leaving this hotel, and moved to Cretan Dream Royal. This cost us €100 out of pocket. This inconvenience ruined our whole vacation, utterly disappointed.

Let me start by making it crystal clear - what you read next is to been seen more as observations than negative feedback This is a 5 star experience on a 3 star hotel If you decide to visit this hotel, and you bring the mentality that you are going to a 3 star and not a 5 star hotel - then you are likely to experience a 5 star stay Be aware that the hotel is on top of a small hill, which means that if you struggle to walk a few hundred meters with an okay elevation level consider to take a taxi home The beach is also close by also at the foot of the hill First of all: what makes this hotel stand out is the owner(s)/staff(s) of this hotel They are all, without exception, genuine welcoming, smiling, personal, friendly and right out pleasant to be around This goes from the reception to the gartner and the housekeeping The Room: We had one of the rooms with the main beedroom on the 1st floor and the kitchen and 2 sleeping couches downstairs There is a wc and bath on both floors and a terrace on both floors There is however only 1 air condition and as you can see on my photos its located high up The only way to try and cool the 1st floor is by using the “swing” functionality on the remote to make the fans try and swing up the cold air But as hot air rises and cold air falls you will experience that those sleeping on the 1st floor can be s bit warm here in the summer and those at the ground floor a bit cold The kitchen is small and so is the fridge, but as we only used the kitchen to cool our beverages and make a lunch sandwich it was no problem If you plan to actually cook you could be challenged a bit The 2 main beds are good and the 2 sleeping couches are hard as a rock but the springs in your back makes you forget that ;) There is a tv with a few channels nothing really but we mostly came back from Aqia Marina around 2300 and straight to sleep The Wifi in the room, as in most southern hotels, are non-existing so bring you 4G mobile data The water in the bath was nice and warm at all hours of the day There is daily cleaning of the room with floors been washed etc and new towels and bed linen every 3rd day If you look at my photo you can see the finish around the sink, the cub bards, electrical sockets etc. But everything was fully functional in the room and it was nice and clean I would suggest to bring some extension cords for iPad/iPhone charging etc. As the number and placement of those outlets is from a time before electronic devices The Pool: the pool is kept very clean and so is the surrounding pool areas There is no pool towels so bring your own There is a life guard on duty most of the day and he also keeps the pool area spotless The cleaning staff also wash the tiles every morning The pool is nice and deep for diving in around 3 meters deep at the deep end There is enough sun beds for all guests so no problem getting one And the hotel is not strict about you enjoying a can of soda you bought at the mini m

Arrived at this hotel and had to leave the dame day, because the room was awful, bad smell, mold and ants. After all they decided to keep the money instead of refund, so keep in mind while booking this place, choose an option to pay via paypal or your credit card to have an option to submit a claim.

What a lovely place! I don’t have a bad word about this hotel. Perfect room with a nice balcony, a small kitchen, spacious bathroom and great beds. Very kind and helpful staff like always want you the best. Good food in the restaurant and nice cocktails in the bar. The mini market to the hotel has a wide range and good prices. The pool area is peaceful and never a problem to find a free sun bed. The Breakfast has a high quality and Lovely fruit, Bread, olives and eggs with more.

We came to Pegasus Hotel for a week, and i must say it was a very very relaxing and enjoyable week, the hotel has a very nice and relaxed atmosphere, the pool was always very clean and a nice depth for everyone to enjoy, the poolside bar always served fresh cocktails and they were brilliant, shout out to George who would always make us feel welcomed, the hotel restaurant was also extremely nice, the Gyros was splendid, overall me and my friends would most certainly come back here in the future and look forward to doing so the area of Stalos, Agia Marina, Platinias and Chania itself are full of markets, bars and restuarants for all to enjoy! Cant wait to come back :)

The rooms were lovely, large, & spacious, with large balconies where one can enjoy breakfast or nightcaps. A big, clean pool (20-25m in length, with a separate children's pool, plenty of sunchairs), open from about 8:30 am until around 19:00 pm. Well kept gardens, with a full-time gardner. Cleaning staff efficient and friendly. Shop relatively well equipped with friendly, helpful shop assistant. Unfortunately the entire ambience of the place was spoiled by an extremely cranky, inflexible day receptionist who lacked customer service skills, for example, we had to give up our rooms at 11am, (our flight was leaving at 1 am) and we were denied the use of the toilet next to the reception. Outside toilets were available but there was no loo paper or soap to wash one's hands, which was rather unfortunate considering that COVID is still in existence.
