Such an amazing hotel! We enjoyed every minute of our 13 night stay. We went all inclusive which id recommend as it’s so worth it. We feel so rejuvenated and are definitely going to come back again! The Pool- MASSIVE shoutout to Georgio who works tirelessly to ensure you’ve always got a drink and are happy around the pool. Georgio goes round all the sun beds including the hotel ones on the beach to get everyone’s drinks orders and brings the drinks right back to you. Never had to wait longer than 10 mins for our drinks he is a serious grafter and such a friendly member of staff! Shoutout to Antonio too for making the best cocktails! Loved the Strawberry Pina Coladas The room- We stayed in the West block of rooms which had been recently renovated. They’re stunning & the bed was very comfy. We had a land view in the end but it’s perfect for those who like people watching, although if you have the opportunity to opt for the sea view room i would as the views look insane. Our room was cleaned every day which was also great. We were able to sleep through the passing of cars outside too. Only downfall of these new rooms would be the doors. They’re difficult to close and the cleaners sometimes left our door open of course by mistake but it’s a little worrying to come back to the room seeing your door open… The Food- We ate in the hotel every day and always found something we both liked. A lot of the food is repeated but it’s similar not exactly the same. If i had to be seriously picky, It would be nice to see some more variety but it all tasted nice especially the fruit & desserts. The staff at the main restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Entertainment- There was entertainment every night & is good for everyone but especially those above 35/40+ years old we’d say. If you didn’t fancy the entertainment the hotel is situated on Stalis ***** with loads of bars, shops and restaurants just down the road. Everything you need is right on your doorstep. I wouldn’t recommend it to those with toddlers or kids who want a splash pool as there isn’t one! Only babies were here when we stayed. Overall we had a lovely holiday, it’s suitable for everyone. We are already trying to plan to come back! Thank you so much to all the staff at I Resort Beach Hotel!

Lovely hotel and great staff. We were looked after well by the Beverage hotel manager Antonio and his team esp as we had special dietary needs. The room were really clean and view was superb from the balcony. Entertainment every night was wonderful and busy evenings for the bartenders and staff. I would also like to say thanks for my special birthday treat. Got nothing bad to say about this resort except that the lightings in the bedroom/bathroom are bit awkward as if one needs to pop into bathroom in middle of the night, it would wake up the sleeping partner as the lights shines through onto the bed through the glass panels. Jet airways rep Kath was very helpful as she liaised with the hotel due to language barrier but no assistance from Leoni who was our allocated rep. Leoni couldn't wait to get away from us which we were not happy about her attitude at all.

Great location right on the beach and the resort isn’t too lively like some other places in Crete. Food in general was good. We were all inclusive so the buffet did get a bit repetitive so we ate in the town a couple of nights for a change of scenery and experience a broader menu. The room was recently renovated in the west building, a little small even for just two of us. Only real criticism is there are nowhere near enough sun loungers either around the main pool or on the small beach area in front of the hotel. I’m not prepared to get out of bed between 6am and 7am when I’m on holiday to secure a sun lounger which obviously a lot of people did every day. We ended up sitting on the sofas outside of the main lounge area when we didn’t go on trips!

It was a very pleasant experience with the most welcoming and positive staff. They welcomed us with smiles and a positive attitude and were very flexible with my needs. The ambience set the mood very nicely and it was enjoyable all throughout.

The holiday was lovely we had the best time however I have to agree that the hotel is no where near 5 star! Theresa staff are lovely and very helpful but the hotel itself just needs a whole renovation, the rooms are good and clean (lighting isn’t great) but otherwise lovely. The hotel surroundings just need a good tidy!! (Painting) the east side pool is just awful, the whole thing needs painting some slabs are chipped, wooden decking around small pool is all lose. The food is okay but the coffee in the morning is always cold! There isn’t any other nice restaurant to go sit inside the hotel for change of scenery (salty restaurant) is just outside where you can eat lunch so there’s no difference. Compared to a 5 star we stayed in Rhodes it just didn’t even cut it! The best thing about the hotel is the location! The bars and restaurants on the hotel entrance are amazing and plenty to do however definitely needs sorting out. We made it a lovely holiday and we had the best time it’s just was not what we expected from the pictures.

I want to start by saying that we had a great holiday, but there's no point in doing a review if you're not going to be honest, so first, let's start with the good stuff. The hotel's position, on the beach, is perfect. Two swimming pools, daytime and nighttime entertainment and very efficient staff and good food. The hotel itself is a very modern, international hotel, and unfortunately, that means it has none of the character of Crete. I have to be perfectly honest and say there was a lot of "Form over Function". The rooms, while spacious, have one, rather small, wardrobe and a very small three draw chest of drawers. There is a Chaise Lounge in the corner of the room, which appears to serve no purpose apart from being somewhere to stack your clothes as you can't put them away and some kind of box affair either side of the bed ... No drawers. When we mentioned this, they brought us up another suitcase rack followed the next day by a floor standing towel rail. The bathroom is separated into three (Shower, Toilet, and Sink)) by some very stylish blue smoked glass. The sink has a very strange marble plate in so no plughole or plug, making it impossible to run a sink of water to shave and no light above. Back to the good stuff... George in the restaurant was very helpful and friendly and a special mention for Karina, who ran the animation. There was Darts, Boccha, and pool games as well as yoga and stretching, and she did it all with a smile and loads of energy and was very friendly... Thanks Karina. So, all that said , would I go back there? ... absolutely I would but I would know what to expect... and maybe grow a beard before I go. Overall... We loved it.

We stayed for a week at the I Resort recently. The room was an adequate size and could have done with a bit more storage as commented by other reviewers. But that was not a deal breaker for us. The shower was fantastic and was only let down by the fact that it hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived. I found hairs tangled around the massage jets which was off putting. The infinity pool was always crowded and very cramped. Sun loungers were squeezed into every available space so there was no privacy. We ended up spending most of the week in the other smaller pool where there was more space between the Sun loungers. A word of warning- towels cannot be left to reserve the sunloungers around the infinity pool. We watched a member of staff going round removing all the towels even those left by a couple who had only just walked away. Food in the buffet restaurant was plentiful and superb, I am a vegetarian who is a picky eater yet really enjoyed the meals. Some of the food were the same everyday (spaghetti with a plain or bolognese sauce for example) but again that didn’t bother us as the options were sufficient. Veal and perch appeared a lot sometimes there were even 2 different dishes comprising veal appearing at the evening buffet. The buffet restaurant had more of a canteen feel sad to say. The tables were so close together there was no privacy. Also there was no air condition in the restaurant so some guests were using hand held fans. The restaurant manager was sweating each time I saw him. One evening his shirt was covered in sweat both front and back as he had been rushing around. Not the professional look guests expected. Service in the main bar was slow at times. My husband went to the bar and ordered our drinks which never arrived. A waitress came to us after 30 minutes to get our order and this time our drinks did arrive although it again took some time. On another evening they got my drink order wrong. But this was rectified as soon as we brought it to their attention, My big disappointment was the meal at Salty’s. As we were staying for more than 5 nights we were given a voucher to have a set menu meal from this restaurant/bar. We made a reservation which we later rearranged to a different day. When we arrived for the meal they had no notification of the revised reservation. 3 of the 5 options that I had selected from the set menu ended up being slightly different. I opted for a main which the menu stated came with a spicy tomato sauce but there was no sauce at all. Same with my linguini option. I selected a chocolate mousse but got lemon sorbet instead. It wasn’t the staffs fault as they were not prepared for us but clearly the person who changed the reservation for us had forgotten to notify the staff at Salty. Overall we did enjoy our holiday. The staff are polite and friendly and the hotel location is great with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. But the hotel could go with some upgrading and a lick of pain

We stayed in the I-Resort for a week and had a really good holiday. Checkin was done very well - we arrived towards the end of lunch and the staff did well to make sure we were able to not miss lunch. We were on the ground floor of the West wing which was great. Immediate reaction to the room was very favourable as it was clean, modern and a large bed. An hour later we were less enthusiastic about the room and less so the following morning! Unfortunately the room designers had obviously never stayed in a hotel for a week as the design was all about looks and zero on functionality. Very little space to store anything so had to keep things on the floor and on the comfy chair. Nowhere to hang bath towels after use so they had to go on the floor as well and as a result were changed every day which was a waste. Bathroom small and little space to store toiletries. The bed was really comfortable and the room kept really clean by housekeeping. We stayed on an all inclusive package mainly because it was such good value compared with B&B. Food in the buffet restaurant was excellent and really enjoyed it. They do change many of the dishes each day but overwhelmingly by the 4/5th day you feel it’s all very similar. We were able to have a meal on the terrace overlooking the sea one night which was great but in the end having another restaurant would have helped. Drinks ended up a bit of a nightmare - for lunch twice our drinks arrived as we were finishing our meals and other times weren’t what we ordered. In the evening they seem to not want people ordering from the bar directly so have to wait for the staff to come round to take your order then wait for it to be delivered. We did sit at the bar most nights but as the 2 bar staff were flat out sorting out drinks for the waiters that we often waited for some time. Many of the spirits aren’t included in the all inclusive package (which I understand) but you never know which ones they were as the list on the bar wasn’t complete. The pool areas were very nice - we preferred the quieter pool by the East wing as there was more space between the sun beds (packed in like sardines by the West wing pool). We always managed to get a bed where we wanted. Bar staff stopped by frequently to take drink orders which was great. Entertainment in the evening (starts at 2100) was generally good and really enjoyed the atmosphere in that area. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a restful holiday. A few things need to be thought out better to make it more than the 4/5 we’ve rated it as.

Very relaxing! TRANSFER Wish we’d booked a taxi! The transfer on arrival took 90 minutes. Sooo many drop offs before ours and we were 2nd to last. The transfer on departure was even worse! 2 1/4 hours which wasn’t helped by a no show at Lyttos. ROOM Brand new! Gorgeous rooms, layout not great, storage limited and lighting over sink terrible. I couldn’t see to floss my teeth and my husband couldn’t see to shave. Rooms must have good sound proofing as couldn’t hear a thing through the walls. ✔️ Air con not cooling (fixed after 3rd visit to reception) Mini bar not cold (it’s NOT a fridge) barely cools drinks so if you wanted to keep something at a certain temperature (like food) you have no chance. I heard many people complaining about the mini bar not chilling drinks. It would be better to replace them all with fridges that are standalone so at least people have somewhere to chill anything they need to. Encasing a mini bar or fridge in a cupboard doesn’t help it work efficiently imo. Once fixed the air con was very efficient and cooled our bottles of water more than the mini bar. 😂 TOWELS Room towels were replace every day whether we wanted them changing or not (we didn’t want them changing every day). Somewhere to hang them to dry would have been nice. There was only 2 hooks in the room. 1 next to the mirror over the sink (used for a hand towel) and the other in the toilet 😫. It would be better for the environment if another hook (or 2) was added so the towels could be dried (we did sometimes dry them on the balcony) and not changed every day. 🙏 STAFF Very friendly and efficient. Special shout out to Leonardo who looked after everyone bringing drinks in the bar on an evening. 👏👏👏 FOOD/DRINK Good food selection and gorgeous fresh fruit, lots of salads and some hot plain veggie dishes. Available every lunch and dinner, bread, vegan margarine 🙌🙌, plain salads, 1 hot item (might be spaghetti 🍝 and tomato sauce as a minimum), dolmadas, olives 🫒(whole and sliced) - both green and black! In addition sometimes there was sometimes pots of lentil salad or quinoa that didn’t have dressing on or any animal products. Sometimes there was tapenade and minced sundried tomatoes (separate) on the salad 🥗 bar too. The fruit was good quality with fresh pineapple 🍍 being available most days, watermelon 🍉, honeydew melon etc. 👌 I would like to see labels for vegan friendly 🌱 items as there was a veggie one but that often contained animal products. Allergen info lacking clarity - there wasn’t one on each dish only a generalised one on each counter. Coffee lukewarm at breakfast unless you ask for extra hot coffee. That’s because they have the pots of coffee for 2 ready and waiting. Alternative milk was available (soya/almond). Nice orange juice (not the squash style you get at some AI hotels)! You can also get apple juice which I only noticed on the last day as I don’t recall being offered it. ENVIRONMENT Bottled water given on requ
