The hotel is in the south west of the island, the location is very good, it is very convenient to take a taxi from the airport. It is very convenient to take a taxi from the hotel. The bus is a bit troublesome and the road is dark at night. The hotel environment is very good, small but very high-end hotel, the service is nothing to say. Very good service, the front desk is very enthusiastic, and the room service is also very good: 1. After each room cleaning, they will help fold the pajamas, replenish water and food, and leave the name of the cleaner 2. The front desk answered the phone very quickly. We encountered three problems, all of which were solved within 5 minutes. 3. The location is excellent, only 3 minutes away from the bus station, behind is the city center (central market), and it is very close to all the Internet celebrity restaurants (except Oyster box and other restaurants on the beach) 4. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are large, the facilities are new, especially the bathroom, the supporting facilities are sufficient and use Th White Company suits.

The location was fantastic with views over the Marina and the little island with the Fort. The breakfast was good and the customer service was wonderful, we got our room upgraded due to an check in error made causing a delay. We were very happy with the upgraded room. The only thing that could be improved was the Spa treatments as there was only 1 person that did the massage and he was booked out during our weekend trip. More spa treatments should be made available with more than 1 staff member. Also the lady who did nails, manicure/pedicures was also not available during the weekend.

This is an amazing hotel. It is in a great location only about 4 mins from the main shopping area. Our room was large, very clean and well decorated. Food was amazing with a varied menu for our evening meal. The staff were fantastic, attentive, friendly and very hardworking. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Jersey.

The service / staff are amazing here. There is a Portuguese girl on reception who is really sweet and another European girl on reception too. There is a cocktail specialist in the bar who really knows his stuff (I think he’s Indian). Staff at the breakfast in the morning are really good too! Try the oat milk latte. Big disappointments are: the single beds are uncomfortable in the twin rooms with awful pillows. The pool in the spa is a bit dirty, the lighting gives the perception that the environment is cleaner than it actually is. The breakfast has no fresh fruit, surely you can provide daily watermelon, fresh pineapple and melon etc.

We came to stay at the Merton as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday and from the moment we arrived we received great service and could tell we were going to experience a great stay. The facilities across the hotel were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet had great quality and choice on offer, the shows in the theatre were well produced and the gym and leisure facilities were simply great. We have already booked our return trip in a few weeks and cannot recommend this family hotel enough, it’s amazing for couples or families. The hotel is very well managed and the service of the whole of the staff really enhanced our stay. Thanks!

My husband and I have just had a lovely 5 night stay at the Talana. From the friendly welcome when we arrived, (we were able to get into our room at 10.30am) to the excellent breakfast in the morning. Enough choice for most people. The rooms were cleaned everyday, and fresh towels left. Some parts of the hotel are a bit ”tired”, but the helpful and friendly staff more than made up for this. The onsite car park is a bit tight, but very useful. All in all, a lovely stay in a very convenient location for exploring Jersey.

A very nice hotel on the edge of St. Helier. Only a 15 minute walk to the main town. Staff are friendly, rooms very nice (massive bed - stayed in a Spa Room) and clean. There’s a good selection of drinks in the bar but they are a bit pricey; along with evening meals (£25 for a chicken Caesar salad) so venture out for evening food. Breakfast was the norm but got a bit ‘samey’ after a few days. The on-site spa is very nice, had a lovely massage. The pools themselves are quite cold. Overall a nice place but not worthy of 5 stars.
