Excellent hotel, front staff very friendly & helpful. Room was clean & everything you would need, ( a fridge would have been handy)
10-15 minutes walk to town & sea front. Breakfast fine & plenty of choice, good evening menu.
Spa was excellent with infinity pool, jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, sauna & steam room at no extra charge.
Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is old, don't have expectations, the room facilities are similar to express hotels, and the location is average. What I saw when I checked in did not match the Ctrip promotional pictures at all. The windows can only be opened a little bit, so you can't see the outside, it's stuffy

A magnificent building and a very British atmosphere. English breakfast, but no beans… A little far from the tea center of Saint Helier, you should plan around a 20-minute walk.

Enjoyable trip to lovely Jersey!
Just home from a lovely stay at the Hotel De France. Very friendly and accommodating staff who really couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. Really grateful for allowing us to have a later brunch in place of our Saturday morning breakfast as we needed to be up early to do the Jersey Parkrun on the other side of the island.
Great service from all the staff in the evening and reception were also very helpful.
We will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family!

Top Notch!
We stayed here 8 years ago and were pleased to see the quality of the hotel had not reduced since Covid, Storms, the end of the world etc.
We had a lovely balcony room, which was serviced perfectly each day of our stay. Plenty of towels, refreshments etc and a nice cold fridge. Nothing was too much trouble for the breakfast and reception staff and the spa area was good as new!
On the downside, whilst the breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice, it would have been easier if the hash browns, beans and black pudding were on the buffet, rather than having to order seperately. Good to be able to order eggs how we liked them though. The food and bar prices were a little expensive (as is everything nowadays) and we were sad to see the lounge bar was closed, but other than that, all wonderful!

Lovely hotel - very clean and spacious with heath and fitness centre - indoor swimmiing pool and spa available to guests
The road up to the hotel from the main road and nearby bus stop is very steep with numerous steps ofr pedestrians

Just got back from a 2 night stay in Jersey, for my wedding anniversary. Such beautiful hotel, we had balcony spa room it was super spacious. Lovely touch with the fresh flowers and a card congratulating us. Complimentary waters, coffee and towels were re stocked daily. The breakfast was lovely and the evening meal was delicious. Would definitely recommend Hotel De France.
