"The hotel staff was great, helping us at all times with parking and the areas to visit. My wife was pregnant and they provided us with food options adapted to her at all times, the beds were very comfortable and the area, despite being a party area, did not make any noise."
"The neighborhood is super well located and dynamic, close to everything!
The roof top, swimming pool and bar are great, but the view is a little spoiled by the buildings being built around.
The staff is very welcoming and responds quickly to any request.
Pay attention to breakfast times, if you are unfortunate enough to show up at 10:01 a.m., you will not be entitled to any coffee...
The rooms are comfortable, equipped with a small individual terrace, very practical, but we did not have hot water pressure in the shower, which is a shame.
The neighborhood is nice
And we never had a problem parking for free around the hotel during our entire stay.
I recommend !"
"The hotel is a good hotel with a date but functioning, clean rooms and a comfortable location to move as the whole area is in the process of rehabilitation.
Breakfast buffet with most choice of typical English or American salad . Quality price, advice"
"Thank you for the extra touch of service! Would appreciated if we were informed about the swimming pool which was undergoing refurbishment when we were there."
"The hotel is nice and well located. Depending on your trip intentions moving by public transport takes minimum a ride of 30 mins so if you want to just relax this hotel is a great option. The rooms smelled like humidity and they should look into repairing it specially if it goes through the furniture (the side of the kitchen on my apartment was pretty bad) and the sea room I was given had no sea view due to other buildings. The staff is extremely nice and helpful a d willing to help if anything happens.
The hotel itself is quite big and the rooms/apartments are great, but they need renovation. Other than that I had a great time!"
"The self catering accommodation is pretty basic but had everything I needed. Location is great, just a few minutes from seafront, national aquarium and bus station with good links to rest of malta. Its worth noting that check in is done at sister hotel Canifor. Not the quietest of places to stay but the walls are thick"

Outstanding
GGuest UserSo I stayed at 3 hotels during my stay in Malta and whilst all were great this was an absolute stand out for sure. It helps that the hotel is new but everything was amazing. The facilities which include the sauna, steam room and pools both indoor and on the roof were amazing. They also have a nice lounge were you can play pool and watch tv. The room itself was fantastic which was large and comfortable bed with balcony.
The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was nice and fulfilling. Breakfast is on the 9th floor which was very picturesque. Location was great if you are looking to see St Paul’s bay, the north of Malta and Gozo.
My only fault with this hotel sadly is the soundproof of the rooms. I was on the 8th floor which was directly under the restaurant and I could hear food trolleys moving around at like 5am in the morning which wasn’t great for sleep. You can also hear hear very clearly noise from the corridor.
Would I stay again? Absolutely, however I’d probably ask not be roomed on the 8th floor.
The price was also fantastic, however let’s be honest it’s offseason and everything is very cheap. Could I afford to stay here in peak season? Probably not as the price is 10* what I paid…however this goes to how that I got a real bargain and the hotel is definitely worth the price whether you stay in peak season or not.
GGuest UserVery good hotel, excellent amenities, we stayed bed and breakfast. The food at breakfast was top quality and varied. The hotel was very clean in all areas, very modern decor throughout. Room very comfortable with sea view. Would stay at this hotel again.
AAnonymous UserGreat size room! Good bathroom supplies.Tea/coffee facilities, fridge in room and iron which was a bonus.
My room view was of a construction crane in this occasion sea view not worth it. Good location, plenty shops/restaurants around. First night was horrible, people drunk banging on doors running up and down corridors, Xmas events were happening in the hotel. I thought St Paul’s bay would be quieter than St Julian’s, I was wrong. It is December I guess. Walls and ceilings thin, could hear everyone! I Didn’t get to use the pool, was filled with small kids each time I went. Spa was expensive compared to other hotels, I used a different hotel at half the price for more treatments instead. At breakfast tables were sectioned off by the windows with sea view and breakfast manager said it was for lunch “because lunch guests complained”. Doing this from 9.30am made no sense and was inconsiderate to breakfast guests. Breakfast was excellent. Good selection and tasty. Reception staff friendly. Pretty Xmas displays throughout hotel. Would I stay again, no.
JJiwon RubyOverall the hotel wasn't bad~~ The breakfast was ok and the room was ok! The staff were very kind. We couldn't go to the pool because we were tired, but the pool atmosphere was nice and the songs kept coming out, so it was exciting~~ The surrounding infrastructure was a little poor, but we were able to easily go to other places, so we were satisfied. Do it~
GGuest UserBasically a great place to stay.
There is a kettle in the room, as well as instant coffee, tea, and sugar. Hair dryer and refrigerator, toiletries include shower gel (shampoo and body) and soap. It was a beautiful room. The indoor pool was lukewarm and just right, and the sauna was also nice. Breakfast also includes salads, several types of bread, and a lot of food (*dishes and breads are boiled every day*, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, quiche, croissants, pain au chocolat, Danish. Other sweets have also changed little by little), especially bacon. The sausages were delicious. There was also a coffee machine and juicer, which seemed to be sufficient. The location is also very good, just a few minutes from the beach. The surrounding restaurants also looked good. The lounge is also beautiful.
The weak point is that the staff is a bit rushed. At breakfast, I was asked multiple times if I could take down the unused plates, and an hour before check-out I was asked when I could start cleaning. And then there's the noise in the hallway. Speech sounds can be heard quite a lot. I think it depends on the location and other guests.
AAnonymous UserThe price is much lower than other accommodations with the same conditions on the island and there are no flaws. It can be said that the cost performance is extremely high. It is perfect for just overnight rest. The infrastructure is relatively complete, there is a balcony, the air conditioning is very comfortable, the bed is very comfortable, the hygiene is also good, the service is very good, the front desk is very enthusiastic, there are McDonald's Pizza Hut and many supermarkets nearby, and it is also convenient to walk to the beach. The bus stop takes a while to get there, but there are many routes and it is convenient to travel. Although the location looks far on the map, it is very OK to take the bus from the airport.
The only drawback is that the hot water on the fifth floor is relatively small, and there is no shower gel and shampoo.
SSandra Sánchez RedínThe simple but clean rooms and the charming cleaning girls. We can't say the same about the reception staff, they didn't even leave us a pen. Not all of them, but there were a couple who were quite unfriendly.
GGuest UserVery mixed evaluation. The hotel is good and very well located, however:
- the staff is not often there. We told Maria at reception that our mini-bar was not cooling. Answer, a mini-bar does not cool. We of course had two rooms and in the other, it was completely cold, even too cold. By moving the electrical outlet, it worked. It was reported but no one ever came.
- room cards that didn't work three times. Every time we pass, we are told that this happens and the third time, we are told that it is because the tourist tax is not paid. Ironically, we went to reception twice to do this but were told later.
- incredible noise in the hotel. The hotel receives groups of young teenagers and they are hellish, we couldn't really sleep until 1-2am.
- if you want to reach the reception, pray that your room is with the new facilities. My daughter got a new room and we got a less new one. The telephone did not work and despite reporting it to reception, nothing was done.
Otherwise the hotel is good, comfortable, the indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi very good and the restaurant service is excellent. We hesitated with the Seaview and ultimately regretted it.
Despite the hotel's good points, we won't be coming back there again, that's for sure.
