I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel with my husband for 8 days in November/December and had an overall great experience, with a few areas for improvement. **1) Fitness & Exercise Classes:** The range of exercise classes on offer was excellent e .g aqua yoga, yin yoga, stretching, reformer pilates (for a fee) plus soundbaths. As someone who’s very active and a yogi, I was pleased with the variety available and loved that I could easily book them via the hotel website/app. Special mention to Melina and the reformer pilates instructor (I think her name was Igrid), who were both absolutely fantastic, super friendly and went above and beyond! However, there’s room for improvement in the booking system—while it’s great to have everything online (or you can book at reception), the website didn’t automatically update and kept showing past bookings, which meant I had to scroll quite a bit to find my schedule for the day. Also, it would be good if you book multiple participants onto a class at once and helpful to know in advance which instructor will be teaching, as personal preference plays a big role in enjoying these classes. **2) Music Nights & Bar Staff:** The music nights were a great touch to the evenings, adding a lovely atmosphere. Phillip Schwarz was brilliant. The bar staff were friendly and accommodating, which enhanced the overall experience. We also really enjoyed the Krampus visit to the restaurant in the evening which was a great fun local tradition! **3) Christmas Sheep:** A quirky and delightful touch seeing the sheep out for Christmas was an unexpected but charming addition to the festive atmosphere as the hotel was beautifully decorated for perfume. **4) Range of Activities:** The hotel offers a wide variety of activities, which was a huge plus for me. From fitness to leisure, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. **5) Food Quality:** Overall, the food was good. However, I felt that the quality and range of choices at their other hotel in Lazise, where I stayed last year was superior. It’s not to say that the food here was not good, just that there was a bit more variety and flair elsewhere. **6) Relaxation Areas:** There are plenty of peaceful spots to unwind throughout the hotel, and I loved the variety of options. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner or somewhere more social, there's a place for you. **7) Language Barriers:** We were in the minority as English-speaking guests, and unfortunately, our allocated waiter wasn’t fluent in English. There were times when he struggled to answer menu-related questions whilst there were other waiters who were fluent so that was a shame. We also quite often got the daily newsletter/what's on in german, with it being replaced with an english version when requested. It might also be a small but useful change to have some language indication on place settings (perhaps a flag next to the surname) to help staff know which language guests are most comfortable with (if not german)
