Overall the resort is very exclusive. A bit too big as you need some time to find your way to different buildings and this includes walking outside ( which is unpleasant during bad weather ). We had a 2 bedroom suite which was very quiet. I did not like though the incorporated bathroom in our bedroom. See picture… tub is right next to the bed. Other problem if you like it colder for sleeping it’s tough as the bathroom is heated and there’s no thermostat to regulate. Food is very good and personnel overall very friendly. We like the separated kids areas , especially for the pools.since we booked a suite for our family of 4 ( 2 kids above 18 years). Here was the BIG problem: We had access to the more exclusive sea lodge where they have a separate spa . The spa had a sign in front of their entrance saying: FREE TREATMENT: 12 o clock 20 min massage So as every English speaking person would , we assumed free treatment means free treatment, thinking because of the high end pricing at the sea lodge that’s what they offered as a little extra to their guests. I went in the sis and said to the receptionist: do you still have the free massage available? And she said yes and booked our family of 4. My kids also asked for another treatment that was advertised as ‚free treatment‘ but later we found everything on our invoice (+440€) I went to the responsible accountant who was clearly shocked that the spa would write on their sign : free treatments instead of free appointments . I said there’s a BIG difference and this will backfire I’d more English speaking guests will arrive. He asked which treatments were used and unassigned he would take it off the bill or at least come up with some compromise but no, he said thank you for pointing this out ( and the spa changed their sign afterwards ) and that was it… Later we also saw more drinks being charged than we ordered . My husband said to me just leave if be … doesn’t matter to make a fuss about the 20€… but if they do that with a few guests every day it adds up to a nice extra profit! so overall we were very disappointed in our second stay at this resort which clearly was the last time we went! I would have appreciated a better approach from the management in solving this matter !! More

We absolutely adored our stay over the summer as a family of 4, with 2 kids ages 8/10. So much to do, so relaxing and luxurious. I think probably my favourite family hotel ever! We were English speaking and in the minority but enjoyed this and the staff were so welcoming. We stayed at Alpenschlossel. The food was so incredible, out of this world. The children were welcomed and catered for so beautifully. Nothing was any trouble with the staff. The family pool area with water slides was amazing!

I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel with my husband for 8 days in November/December and had an overall great experience, with a few areas for improvement. **1) Fitness & Exercise Classes:** The range of exercise classes on offer was excellent e .g aqua yoga, yin yoga, stretching, reformer pilates (for a fee) plus soundbaths. As someone who’s very active and a yogi, I was pleased with the variety available and loved that I could easily book them via the hotel website/app. Special mention to Melina and the reformer pilates instructor (I think her name was Igrid), who were both absolutely fantastic, super friendly and went above and beyond! However, there’s room for improvement in the booking system—while it’s great to have everything online (or you can book at reception), the website didn’t automatically update and kept showing past bookings, which meant I had to scroll quite a bit to find my schedule for the day. Also, it would be good if you book multiple participants onto a class at once and helpful to know in advance which instructor will be teaching, as personal preference plays a big role in enjoying these classes. **2) Music Nights & Bar Staff:** The music nights were a great touch to the evenings, adding a lovely atmosphere. Phillip Schwarz was brilliant. The bar staff were friendly and accommodating, which enhanced the overall experience. We also really enjoyed the Krampus visit to the restaurant in the evening which was a great fun local tradition! **3) Christmas Sheep:** A quirky and delightful touch seeing the sheep out for Christmas was an unexpected but charming addition to the festive atmosphere as the hotel was beautifully decorated for perfume. **4) Range of Activities:** The hotel offers a wide variety of activities, which was a huge plus for me. From fitness to leisure, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. **5) Food Quality:** Overall, the food was good. However, I felt that the quality and range of choices at their other hotel in Lazise, where I stayed last year was superior. It’s not to say that the food here was not good, just that there was a bit more variety and flair elsewhere. **6) Relaxation Areas:** There are plenty of peaceful spots to unwind throughout the hotel, and I loved the variety of options. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner or somewhere more social, there's a place for you. **7) Language Barriers:** We were in the minority as English-speaking guests, and unfortunately, our allocated waiter wasn’t fluent in English. There were times when he struggled to answer menu-related questions whilst there were other waiters who were fluent so that was a shame. We also quite often got the daily newsletter/what's on in german, with it being replaced with an english version when requested. It might also be a small but useful change to have some language indication on place settings (perhaps a flag next to the surname) to help staff know which language guests are most comfortable with (if not german)

Quellenhof is a magical grouping of hotel buildings, pools, saunas, and restaurants in the beautiful Passeiertal, close to spectacular mountain hiking trails. I have been 5 times and have loved every moment. The staff is/are very friendly and helpful (they even fixed my brother-in-law's glasses) and the food is excellent. The prices are also very reasonable. Check out their website and ask questions. They are very responsive and can tell you about the dozens (hundreds?) of activities and sports opportunities offered by the hotel as well as spa treatments, a well-equipped gym, and excursions.

The pictures suck you in. The pool that is the headline picture in all of their literature looks dated and dirty from within. The complex itself is a labyrinth and if you need help from staff for a problem, forget it. I had an injury that needed some attention and when I finally found a member of staff, they were zero help. Rather than showing the hotel cared, the opposite was felt. To top that off, several members of our group had symptoms that could be related to food poisoning - but as the hotel staff and owner seemed not to care, it was pointless to bring it up. The food was bad, the rooms were average, the complex itself tired and the care from the staff were missing. General consensus, never return.

I stayed here for a week in July with my wife and two children. Everything about our stay was exceptional. We stayed in the See Lodge suites. From arrival to departure we couldn’t have been looked after any better. The location is amazing. The suites are modern and luxurious. The resort is spotless. There are so many things to do - too many in fact! There are two things that stand out. Firstly the food. It’s of such high standard. A different six course menu every night. The food is on a par with Michelin star restaurants. It’s so good, quality and variety. In terms of dinner for the kids, the kitchen will basically cook whatever they want. This means the adults can have the food they want and the children are more than catered for. Secondly, the team that work here are amazing. They genuinely care and do everything they can to make sure you are happy and looked after. Nothing is a problem. They are all lovely friendly people. Quellenhoff is exceptional.

We went for a cigar after lunch and were not dissappointed. Beautiful modern architecture throughout the large dispersed premises. Attentive, friendly service. The Quellenhof is well known for its sporting facilities and visiting sports teams such as the German national football team. Easy to reach from Meran, and a challenging drive if arriving from Timmelsjoch or Jaufen Pass.
