2-Star Hotels in St Julian＇s

This is a low price hotel, you should know what low price hotel means, yes, it does have some problems in some links, please bring your own hair dryer, slippers. But it has convenient hot water, great location, lots of bars, restaurants nearby, 200 meters walk to the beach. I think the hotel has tried its best to provide the best service, the staff is friendly and welcoming, I have asked for help many times and they all responded. Especially the beautiful tall white woman with long hair, she is very friendly. The bus here is very convenient, 50 meters walk is the ross bus stop, from ross can go directly to Valletta and the airport. Thanks to tropicana for giving me a wonderful travel experience.

Large, comfortable room that was very clean. Has privacy curtains which is always a bonus in a hostel! Excellent location, friendly staff. Rooms were not overly soundproof but the hostel was generally quiet so this wasn't much of a problem in the evenings. Outside patio and pool were a nice touch. Fantastic value for money and wish I'd stayed longer! No complaints.

I've stayed here a few times, great atmosphere, very convenient amenities and location. Great thanks to Kashif for a great welcoming attitude and friendly manner. There's a nice rooftop bar with pool table and various party nights. Would deffo come back at the next visit of Malta.

The location is a little tricky, but it's within walking distance of Sliema and a bus ride to Valletta. From the airport, you'll need to transfer buses, or walk a little if you don't. The kitchen is open 24 hours a day, and there are lockers. The dormitory beds have curtains, which is great. And the air conditioning is on at night, so you can sleep comfortably. The front desk is only open at certain times, so be careful, but you can check in outside of those hours as the rooms and beds are posted. It's a step cheaper than other hostels, and I'd like to stay here again if I come to Malta.

Reception staff helped with early check in and responded to email enquiry promptly out of hours  Room was serviced properly every day Quiet ant night and very location a short walk from Spinola Bay/St Julian’s- safe at night  WiFi in room only downside. Very poor signal and hard to connect too all week

Pros: 1. Good location 2. Tasty English breakfast 3. Large room with side sea view Minuses: 1. The first time it happened to me, I waited for a room for 2 hours at the reception, i.e. from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., because it was supposed to be cleaned all the time, from check-out from 11 2. For the whole week other rooms were cleaned, but not mine, I had to put the rubbish out the door, and the employees asked for towels 3. Poor organization of work, as if hotel employees are hired by chance 4. Out of 4 elevators, only 1 was in operation, and not always, so I had to descend and climb to the top floor several times a day

The best hotel i stayed so far in my entire Europe trip this time. Love the services from this hotel. Easy to travel in and out. Superb location and ki d and helpful staff members. Recommended 👍

We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi as a couple. The room was very clean and as spacious as the picture. If you are a couple or a group of friends, I don't think you will have any inconveniences. Amenities include shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, one face towel and one bath towel, tea and coffee, a coffee maker, a kettle, a hair dryer, and free water. The outdoor jacuzzi was already filled with hot water at the time of check-in, and a mattress was placed on top of it. The jacuzzi was equipped with a jet function and colored lights, and even with the mattress half covered, it was large enough for two adults to relax comfortably. It is a very meaningful time, so it is highly recommended for couples. However, one important thing to note is that you should never completely close the door to the room while you are on the balcony. Also, even though it is near the water source, be sure to have your cell phone with you. It is fine if there is someone in the room, but if you close it completely after everyone is outside, it will lock and you will be locked out. There is no handle on the balcony side, and there is no way to open it. If you are locked out, and there is no one in the next room or at the rooftop pool, you will have to ask passersby for help. (We were lucky to be helped by another guest...) The hotel is located near a downtown area where clubs and nightlife establishments are gathered, so you may hear the noise from the lower floors, but if you are on a higher floor, the noise is not particularly bothersome. (The rooms with jacuzzis seem to be concentrated on the top floors due to the structure.) St. Julians itself is more about eating than shopping, and there are many places to eat, from fast food to restaurants. In particular, the seafood restaurant behind the hotel offers oyster tastings and is delicious and recommended. If you are not sure which restaurant to go to, please try it! The staff were all very friendly. I have no complaints about the service at the check-in counter, but after the room cleaning on the second day, there were bugs floating in the jacuzzi because the lid was not closed, and there was a sewage smell coming from the shower drain, which was a bit of a concern. Overall, I think this hotel is highly recommended for short stays in Malta. Thank you for a great time ☺️
