I recently stayed at VITA Hotel and Rooftops during my trip to Malta, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience. From the very first moment, the hotel gave off a welcoming and fresh vibe—the scent in the lobby and the friendly staff instantly made me feel at ease. The hotel is new, modern, and well-maintained. It’s not overly luxurious, but everything is thoughtfully designed and functional, with a simple but stylish interior. I really enjoyed my time here and would absolutely return. ROOMS My room was spacious, clean, and cozy. There was a comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a powerful air conditioner. Some rooms have balconies, which is a great bonus. However, if you’re staying on one of the lower floors, be aware that people outside can see into your room unless you keep the curtains closed—which is a bit of a shame given the amazing view toward Mercury Tower. There were no comforters in the room, just a sheet. When I asked at reception, I was given a duvet cover instead, which worked fine for me. BATHROOM The bathroom was a bit awkward in layout. The door opens in a way that makes access to the shower and toilet a bit inconvenient—I’d recommend switching the direction of the door to make it easier and safer to move around. Other than that, it was clean and everything worked well. CHECK-IN & SERVICE Check-in officially starts at 3:00 PM, but you can arrive earlier—even during the night. If a room is available, the staff will check you in right away. If not, you can leave your luggage in the secure storage area and enjoy the hotel facilities while you wait. You’re welcome to head to the rooftop pool (open from 9:00 AM) and start relaxing—just ask the reception for a towel. Once you’ve registered at the front desk, you’ll receive an email with your room access as soon as your room is ready. The reception staff were exceptional—always smiling, friendly, and ready to help with anything. I felt truly welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. FACILITIES & BAR The rooftop pool and bar are definite highlights. The views are beautiful, and it’s the perfect spot to relax, sunbathe, or sip a cocktail. The bar has a wide variety of drinks, with happy hour specials, and the kitchen serves simple but very enjoyable food. Prices were fair, and the atmosphere was relaxed. LOCATION The location is unbeatable if you want to be in the heart of the action. The hotel is in a lively area where the nightlife is buzzing, especially in the late evenings. It can get crowded outside, but inside the rooms, it’s surprisingly quiet—the soundproofing is excellent, and I barely heard any noise from the street. St. George’s Bay is just a 5-minute walk away, and you’re surrounded by everything you could need: shopping centers, restaurants, bars, McDonald’s, Burger King, and a variety of English, Irish, and Mexican pubs. Everything is right at your fingertips. FINAL THOUGHTS VITA Hotel & Rooftops is the perfect place to stay if you w
