The cabin was clean and comfortable. The one bed cabin was just the right size to spend some time together as a couple. The full-length window beside the bed gives a beautiful view into the woods, and neighoring cabins are far enough away to rarely be noticed. Kitchen supplies are light, so bringing your own cooking and grilling utensils might not be a bad idea. The drive up the the cabins can be a little rough on the gravel road, but our sedan made it well enough. You are out in the middle of the woods, so expect some bugs to follow you inside occasionally and know that you'll have little to no cell service.

We really enjoyed our stay, but there are a few things to know before you go...the road it is on is very easy to miss from Hwy 82...its a narrow gravel road with lots of potholes. Youll worry youve gone too far. Keep going. There is a sign at the facility entrance. The short paved portion just inside the entrance has deep dips w/grates difficult to not scrape a low profile vehicle. It changes back to scrappy gravel...again keep going. In the cabin, very nice and comfy. They've really thought out all the kitchen tools (including cork screw!) BUT should you forget contact lens supplies or toothbrush, your nearest option is 13 miles away. I started feeling queasy from a meal we'd eaten on the way, and wished for a ginger ale or 7-up...but if you dont have it, you're gonna have to drive to get it. Check-in is all via text, there is no check-in hut, no camp host, though they say staff is available, apart from a few "staff only" signs, you really see no sign of staff. You really have to go understanding that you are camping in your own...just comfortably. That was enjoyable for us, and I think we can do even better next time.
