Let's be honest here. No air conditioning, which makes it very difficult to sleep. The room was dirty and stinky (humidity from the bathroom), with cockroache. Breakfast was supposed to be available for 10 euros, but the host himself admits he doesn't like/want to prepare it (too complicated...). The space available in the common fridge is really tiny (you can't store any proper food for cooking). And last, we couldn't take any shower in the early morning (before going to Mount Pico), as the water was cut at night...We give it 1 "star" only because 0 does not exist

The Sara Village presents itself as a widespread hotel, large, clean rooms with a common room for breakfast etc equipped with everything necessary. In the garden there is a patio with an amazing sea view. Miguel is an exceptional host, we couldn't find an available car, but thanks to him the next day the problem was solved by car with private guide for the whole day, kind and very helpful.

Excellent beds, finally long and not recycled "grandmother's". Standard Ikea beds like the rest of the furniture. Large shower with good spray. Ceiling lights can be poor in terms of lighting. ok bedside lights. There are no chairs or tables, just an armchair and there are no coat hangers, just a wardrobe with the smell of humidity inside. The room is large and has a good shower but it is definitely not welcoming... if one stays there many nights.

At first I wasn't going to put such a low grade even though I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and because I thought that at least the staff was saved, but just after checking out I get a notification that the establishment informs booking that we have not stayed so that I do not have the opportunity to leave a review. What a coincidence! We had to change rooms but it turned out to be very unpleasant too. Installations without maintenance, humidity in ceilings and walls, noise from other rooms, poor hygiene, cobwebs under the bed and in the corners, cockroaches and centipedes (we killed 5) and they also left us a gift behind the bed, the bathroom extractor fan It didn't work but it made a lot of noise and humidity, it only increased after each shower which also smelled like residual water. We could not leave the windows open because more insects entered. The shared dining room, which is where he also has his office, smelled closed and when it came time to go use cutlery... there was none. Anyway... all nonsense, I would be ashamed to have accommodation like this.
