We stayed here in a private room for 4 nights and this was probably the best decision in the entire trip. The rooms were super comfortable and clean and the staffs were super helpful. We needed a printout of a document for our trek and the zostel printer was not working. Shabbir bhai sent someone to get it printed from a nearby shop and refused to take the charges from us. The amazing hospitality we received from this zostel was truly the highlight of our trip. Being an unmarried couple it was a tricky for us to find a couple-friendly accommodation in Srinagar during our travel days, but we were glad that zostel came to our rescue. The best part was we easily found travel buddies and shared cabs to Gulmarg and ********. This not only helped us to meet likeminded people but also helped us to share the cab costs for the day-trips. I always had the belief that Kashmir was more of a honeymoon or family destination but it is not. Lots of bachelor crowds do visit Kashmir and Zostel is the ideal place to meet them. Stories were shared and new places were added to the bucketlist during our interaction with other travellers. If you are travelling solo, or in a group, or are just a couple like us, I highly recommend you to try out Zostel.

The location was kind of convenient but then again, to what?
The service was friendly, proficient and professional.
I spilled a beverage on the bathroom floor so I used some tissues to wipe it off, lo and behold the tissues turned black. I was gobsmacked. Similar situation occurred in the living area with identical results. So needless to say hygiene is not of primary importance. Also when closed the toilet seat, the rear of the cover was stained with, I would imagine, urine.
The Kitchen: The Chef and the maitre de saved the day as the dinner was of a very high standard, Congratulations guys, well done 👏 ✔️

I stated in this hotel for 5 nights during my stay and have a mixed opinion about this hotel Pros: 1. Reception manager's behaviour was excellent 2. Room was decent/ clean 3. Mineral Water was complimentary 4. 24 hours hot water 5. Power backup Cons: 1. Location is bit odd - opp. to a burial ground and in the middle of a residential area; the entire lane becomes very dark after sunset. 2. There are too many dogs in this lane which will hamper your good night's sleep. 3. Breakfast was complimentary but you need to call multiple times before it's delivered to your room. Plus, they will not consider your kid for breakfast. Only after I told they provided. Also, it felt they are doing me a favour by providing breakfast. Not good attitude. 4. Service staff enters the room without permission, this is a serious privacy concern and I don't appreciate this. Conclusion - Only book this hotel if you are travelling in peak season and have no other option left.

This hotel is not situated on the main road or at important place. Ho-weer it is quite a qiet place and centrally located for you to be in the city and near all places of tourist attractions. We did not try house boat because of the smell and cleanliness. My children have enjoyed the stay most of all the places we have stayed. The staff is nice and the food is good. My wife was specially impressed by the freshness of the fruits offered in the breakfast.

The hotel staff had the real purpose of serving the tourists. The rooms were well equipped, the necessary needs were also provided by the staff. The icing on the cake was the variety in foods, the taste and the hygiene. The food was too too too good. I suggest the readers to book this hotel if you are planning a trip to Srinagar. It has not got any view as such. But at the end of the day of tiring day after sight seeing all that you need is good food and good comfort sleep.

GGuest UserOne of the best hotel in Srinagar. Hospitality is totally excellent. I have ***aged a group of seventy people from Maharashtra and stayed here in December 27 2022 to 1 January 2023 and we all were stuck due to heavy snowfall. All staff members were very cooperating. They provided us the best service in such a very hard weather ☁️ . I am very thankful to all members of this hotel. Owner is such a great fellow. He came to us regularly and spent few hours with us . He also encouraged us don't worried about weather we all were with you . He is very kind hearted person. May waheguru ji bless him with shower of happiness in his life.

GGuest UserFabulous location, we were welcomed very warmly and the car was valet parked which was important as it was cold and raining.
We were offered a warm drink and a comfortable place to sit whilst the formalities of check in were completed.
We didn’t even have time to finish our drink before we were offered an upgraded room at no extra cost. WOW!
The room was spacious, beautifully dressed and we were shown our own private balcony with the most spectacular view and this was also very nicely furnished.
Everything was as we’d hoped and expected, because the hotel is EXPENSIVE, but we received exactly what we paid for.
All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the Pandemic has affected everyone and this hotel has had to do it’s best to survive these difficult times.
The facilities in the Spa have been cut back to save costs but when we went to use it the place was warmed and treatments were enhanced to ensure we were more than satisfied.
Luxury is expensive and we really enjoyed the pampering!!!
All I can say is that this hotel and the treatment of their guests is everything you would expect for the price you have to pay.
If wehad unlimited money we would stay only here when we visit Kashmir, which I do often to visit family.
Even when we do visit family here we often visit the hotel, just to enjoy the gardens and admire the building and the ambience.
Although we may not spend one penny on these visits the treatment by the staff has always been the same as we experienced on this visit.
One word to describe this hotel FABULOUS.

GGuest UserI am staying at the Ksshmir Inn.As I am a lone traveller the staff and ***agement take care of my safety.If I travel long distance a driver is delegated to me.When I just in the street wanting directions or trying to cross the roads the people are there to help.If I want to thank them they shake heads and say this is what they do.How humble are these people.As I have travelled ***y countries I have known such friendliness and kindness.In Kashmir there are so ***y beautiful mountains and lake areas to visit it could take several visits.This is what I am doing now.As a lone traveller there are ***y things that I watch out for.This hotel has done all this without me asking.My personal safety is top priority and that has guided the hotel for me.If I can travel alone and be safe here it makes for a tremendous holiday.Noelle Petrie Carmichael.

GGuest UserThe hospitality and the courtesy defined the finest tradition of Kashmir and it's people. ***zoor, the caretaker made sure that we were comfortable and served a very tasty and sumptuous dinner. As we had to leave early, the following morning, he woke up early so that we could have breakfast. The houseboat was comfortable but it does need renovation and a fresh coat of paint. These material aspects aside, it was a memorable stay at Nigeen Lake with clean waters and quiet environment to appreciate the majestic beauty of nature.

GGuest UserFrom outside view of hotel i will not recommend to anybody looks messy and old, but when you enter to reception its very opposite and good. I read the reviews of food is not good but i didn't find any clue to say bad or tasteless. Yes problem is in morning breakfast, they have to arrange both ***ners if anybody want ala-carte then they have to respect both options and can't say no to anybody if they have things in menu. Rooms are very good beat and clean, service is good from inside hotel is very neat and clean and maintained. Must try dum aloo 👍 and maintain the hotel from outside as well and decorate it👍

GGuest UserAlthough from the outside it might look like a good hotel, but the rooms were not good at all. We ordered some food, which was served cold. I won't say the services were bad. But they should have considered that the food was already cold and shouldn't have served it. The staff was not rude but wasn't welcoming either. Also nothing was working in the room neither the electric blanket not the geyser. The location of the hotel is good it has access to the local market by walk.
