My recent stay at House & Home, hosted by Mr. Aga Ali, was wonderful. The property itself is picturesque, a true feast for the eyes. The private garden in front boasts an enchanting view of the lake, offering a sense of tranquility unmatched. But what truly elevates House & Home is the exceptional hospitality of the host His warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home. Food was very nice. Meals were a good mixture of local flavors. Biryani was really tempting. I highly recommend this haven to anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating escape.....

Each meal was a delightful experience, with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. Excellent location, excellent service. Rooms were neat and clean. You will get home made food. out of crowd location, calm, go for it if you want to experience things close to the nature. Nice place for honeymoon couples and family. You can get Shikara ride right from the resort. Mr. Ali is very very coperative and ready to help everytime.

The host is a very nice person. We loved the location besides the lake and place is extremely clean. Please reach the place by complementary ride of the shikara ........ Food is amazing please inform in advance..........................

Enjoyed staying at "House & Home Stay" in Srinagar. Amazing hospitality by the host Mr. Ali and his father Mr. Shaheen. They were always just a phone call away and made us feel at home. It's a wonderful property overseeing Nigeen lake with a pleasant garden. They are maintaining it so well. Food was incredible!!. Upon asking for a fruit, they gave us delicious mangoes in the Breafast which was icing on the cake. Overall, it's a great place to stay in Srinagar.

Beautiful property with good rooms and an amazing view of Nagina Lake(far better than Dal Lake). Great food and a very caring and hospitalable staff. Mr Ali will personally cater to all your needs. Very serene and peaceful environment, highly recommended.

The 'house and home resort' , situated away from the chorus of the city has a pleasant ambience... we were captivated by the property and its beauty but the service was just cherry on the cake.Situated on the bank of Nageen lake,one has an easy access to shikara...Special mention of Mr.Aga and his family, who were extremely hospitable ...We were well served with traditional kashmiri meal which was extremely delicious...The service was exceptionally good..and made our first trip to srinagar a memorable one... Didn't feel like checking out

We stayed in this property from 8th May to 12th May'23. On the whole we had a comfortable stay. Location: The hotel is located on Nigeen lake. There are two ways to approach the property - either from the roadside or from the opposite bank of the lake by a complimentary shikara ride on arrival. The property is well maintained with a gazebo in front of the lake where you can sit and relax by the lakeside. If you want a shikara ride you can do the same from the property itself rather than going to Dal lake which is a little distance away. I personally find shikara ride here better than Dal lake as this area is more peaceful. Rating: 5/5. Rooms: Well maintained clean rooms like a home stay. Rating: 4/5. Washrooms: Need improvement. Rating: 3.5/5. Food: Breakfast and dinner provided on chargeable basis.The food is home made.Lunch is not provided but can be ordered from outside. Hospitality: Mr. Aga Ali the operation manager/ caretaker is a very helpful person. He is warm and welcoming and always ready to help whenever needed.
