Not sure what eco friendly meant, shower head was old and plastic cheap, expanding foam around water inlet pipe to shower head was missing or deteriorating, other than that gold stars, next survey that mentions eco anything will get poor reviews

Slippery pool steps Our room smelled very musty. When we went into the pool, the first step was slimy and I fell and hit my lower back on the metal railing. They have around the pool. I’ve had a bruise across my lower back since.

Great stay, but watch where you park The stay was good, but could've been a bit better. The room was clean and the breakfast area was stocked. I had all the amenities that I needed and had a great night's rest. Unfortunately, one of the maintenance employees was cleaning up the parking area and they ended up spraying my car with dirt and got it all dirty on the front. An otherwise fantastic stay was made less so because of this. Overall I'd still recommend it.

Stairways were very dirty. Room was very clean but also very musty. Walls very thin. Neighbor had their tv on all night. Staff very nice and friendly

Had a wonderful experience at the Microtel in Springfield, Illinois while traveling to a conference in Springfield. The room was clean and comfortable, the free breakfast had many options, and staff friendly. Highly recommend!

The room was clean and nice. My only thing was the free "breakfast" I'm not a kid. I don't eat waffles or cereal. What a joke. Offer adult food as well.

It was ok The room was dirty and when asked to have it cleaned. I was told the house keeping staff had already left. Also the breakfast offered was mediocre.
