Can my review be a 0? Traveled all the way from GA to Springerville/Eager area; made reservations for two rooms, 2 MONTHS in advance. Traveled 1500 miles and they had canceled our reservations with no notice, call or heads up…. Nothing. Because it was July 4 weekend, everything was booked and they had 1 suite they they raised the price to $235!! Also put a hold on our credit card for said “reservation “ and won’t receive money back for 7/10 days. Save your time and money and don’t bother with this motel.

Samara was a most helpful front desk clerk. She realized that I had difficulty walking and changed my room from the 2nd to the 1st floor. The room was small but clean and adequate and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of easy to access parking space and it was adjacent to a restaurant.

Very nice place, conveniently located on the main drag through town. Staff was friendly and helpful and room was very clean. Everything worked well. Restaurant next door was very good which was an added bonus. Pricing was very reasonable, great place for a night out on the road to get some rest

i made reservations two weeks before we were scheduled to stay. The day before our stay, I received an email stating that our 2 rooms were cancelled. There was no phone number to call or reason why it was cancelled. The email did not even match the hotel name or third party name where I made the reservations. I thought that it was just a scam but I looked up the phone number and called to confirm that we still had 2 rooms. After being put on hold a few times, I was told to rest assured that our reservation was not cancelled. I was told several times that I had nothing to worry about. So we drove 5 hours the next day to the hotel and went to check in and they told us that our rooms were cancelled. I explained to them that I called and was told that our rooms were not cancelled and that everything was good. The guy at the front desk advised me that I made reservations through a third party and that they overbooked and so they had no rooms available. He told me several times it was not his fault. So here we were in a town with 3 hotels on 4th of July weekend. There were no other vacancies anywhere else. It is 100% the hotel's fault. They hired the third party to book the rooms so they are completely responsible for not communicating with the third party on how many rooms they have available. This really put us in a bind and the only thing they had to say is "it's not my fault". Take responsibility for your actions when representing this hotel. And who sends an email the day before to cancel. Why no phone call? It took 2 weeks to realize you overbooked? Unbelievable.

Rooms are recently renovated nice room , room price very reasonable nice staff, quick check , yes they have hot water .pretty decent stay , offer morning breakfast front desk staff natlie , tori , jessi very pleasant and friendly over all fantastic stay

There aren't many places to stay in Springerville and I like to pick Choice Hotels. This is a good one. It's old, but management is working on dressing up the outside. Furniture is old, but solid and the desk chair actually lifts up! This is a big plus for me as I have long legs and most motel lift chairs are stuck in the down position. Kudos to staff for this one. It's clean. Sink needed a new aerator so I left a note about it - I'll bet no one had mentioned it but the housekeeper should note these things. Very nice refrigerator - worked well and froze my ice pack solid. Breakfast? Well, it's an Econo Lodge - not much and I missed oatmeal. But the coffee was excellent and that was all I needed. It's right downtown - walking distance to two great restaurants and the post office. Right across the street from a drug store that sells everything from ***** to guns. You have to wander around and be amazed. Staff was very friendly and polite. I hope to be hiking here again next year and will stay here.
