Overall, the kids enjoyed this trip. Our family of 5 stayed in the Villas.
The wifi was a disaster. It worked property about 25% of the time. With young kids, this can be extremely frustrating.
They give hardly any toilet paper, bath towels and garbage bags. Be prepared to need more.
Mostly, my biggest frustration was the customer service.
And don't get me wrong- we had great interactions with many of the staff.
However, we had a disappointing encounter on day 3 as we entered the pool. Upon checkin you're given wristbands. Literally nothing else was ever communicated to us about needed different wristbands each day of your stay. And quite frankly it was not an issue on day 2. We swam all day with the wrong wristbands and no one said a thing to us.
So on day 3 as the kids are entering into the pool, we were told to turn around and report back to the lobby for new wristbands. I had no idea what they were talking about.
We had been wearing the same wristbands for 3 days and this was the first we heard of any of this. So i told the girl the kids weren't going to turn around at this point to go back to the main lobby, I could get them for us all. Another lifeguard came to talk to me afterwards. She acknowledged the communication with front desk was not the greatest and that they were short staffed, which is apparently how we had slipped through for 3 days with the wrong bands.
