This review is for the glamping tents! (Marholmen also has cabins, mansions, a hotel, spa and conference venue.) Overall a nice but with a big potential to get even better. - Difficult to access without car. A commute from Stockholm takes 2h with a 2km walk to the hotel along a smallish road at the end. - Few signs around the island making it difficult to navigat. But lots of things to see and do, especially for children. The Glamping tents had no water so we had to carry 2L with us after check-in. There are no toilets on the Glamping Island itself and the closest one is the blue kind you have at festivals around 500m away, no running water close to the toilet either. The beds and sheets were amazing, and the tent itself roomy. It gets cold in the evening so bring hats and warm clothes because there is no insulation, thought there is a heater in the tent. - The dinner was a buffet despite saying three course dinner in the booking. They had meat, fish and vegetarian options for starters, main course and three desserts. But it's a different feeling expecting a sit down dinner vs a buffé. - All staff was very young and thous somewhat inexperienced. For example we ordered a glas of white wine and when coming with the bottle the staff filled up our cava flutes. - We expected our own bathing jetty but had instead a rope to try and climb up the slippery stone, resulting in a fall and not wanting to bath again. - Our breakfast was brought in a basket to our tent. The food as ok-ish being a bit dry. And they forgot our breads and eggs so we had to wait on s second delivery. But the experience was nice. - You need a USB A cable if you want to charge your phone. My opinion: not worth the price as it is today but definitely if all the smaller things a looked over.
