I stayed here for about 5 months and was great all the way up until a new GM took over. She is very rude when speaking with you and for as long as I stayed here she wouldn't honor my discounted member rate and raised the price back up to normal and wanted to charge me a incidental fee of 20$ extra per night which was so ridiculous. The previous GM was awesome she treated us like we deserved to be treated for the amount of money we spent to stay here until our home was ready. She honored our elite member rate and only required one 20$ incident fee for our stay. I wont return here as long as the new GM is here . She has terrible customer service skills and caused this company to lose a great customer in our family.

My wife and I stayed after a family cookout in Fredericksburg. I didn't want to drive back to Richmond. Room was nice n clean. Did hv kids running around making noise but overall nice stay. Breakfast was ok didnt have any turkey options or oj.

We try and stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites or other Marriott properties as a Bonvoy member. This Fairfield Inn is in a great location off 95 and convenient for trips south. Plenty of restaurants etc nearby. Staff was very friendly and hotel very clean and comfortable. Lived up to our expectations of Fairfield Inn & Suites aside from breakfast. This hotel offered probably the least choices and poorest of the number of other Fairfield Inn & Suites we have visited around the country. Very limited choices in every type of food. It was disappointing by Fairfield Inn standards. This is not enough to keep us away but will know not to expect much in the way of breakfast on our next visit as we have family down south and will be making the drive again,.

The hotel is very nice, it is a small town next to it, there are some supermarkets and so on. Generally speaking, it is very good, and there is Mercy next to it, but it is older.

My grandmother always taught me that the difference between good and excellent lies in attention to detail. Attention to detail is where this property falls short. The staff at the front desk was excellent; kind and courteous. The hallways were dimly lit, akin to the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, were badly in need of a vacuuming, and the large wheeled janitorial garbage cans in the hallway (on every floor) took away any sense of being upscale. The elevators similarly needed a sweeping out. The beds were comfortable, but the grime in the bathroom floor corners and dust on the ledge had been overlooked. The room was comfortable, albeit a little dated; the carpet in the room has what appeared to be grease stains. The internet was abysmal. The pool is nice, but the room is badly in need of ventilation. Two minutes in the room left us with burning eyes. The door had a rust-like goo on the handle. A cleaning with some Barkeeper’s Friend would do it well. Breakfast was average. I choose this property for the ratings, but they get exaggerated once I saw the place. Certainly not a bad place to stay, but lacking in attention to detail with so much more potential.

My family and I were in Fredericksburg for my daughter's dance competition. There were quite a few hotels to choose from, but I typically like to stay with the Hilton Brand. While there were a number of Hilton Brand hotels in town, I chose to stay at the Hampton Inn near the Expo and Conference Center. I don't stay at Hamptons often so this was probably my third stay at a Hampton. We stayed 2 nights. Our entire stay was just one big pleasant surprise and that is why I give this hotel 5 stars. Also: 1. The entire hotel from the dining area, lobby and rooms were renovated beautifully. 2. Rooms were spacious and light...much larger than expected. 3. I like that the bathrooms have the built in body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the showers. 4. The breakfast was just enough and the dining area was lovely. We would sit there with coffee and just chat. 5. Beds were comfortable 6. Ambience, furniture and just overall decor was clean and sleek 7. Entire hotel was exceptionally clean Just nice all around. But the biggest reason I give this Hampton 5 stars is the customer service. Literally, when we walked in the door, we were greeted so warmly and we felt so welcomed. We arrived early so we were able to put our bags in the back. She then provided us with a list of restaurants we could choose from since we were going to lunch. She also got out from behind the counter, and walked outside to show us where the expo center was from here so we would get lost finding the competition location. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay and I'm sure we'll be back again for future events and when we do, we are definitely staying at this Hampton.
