It's an older hotel, the bed is too soft, the hand soap and shower gel were out and not replenished when I checked in, the service is so-so.

Lovely stay. Staff is friendly. Unfortunately there was confusion about what was and what was not included in the resort fee with the front desk telling us one thing and the waiter another. WAs disappointed the lobby coffee shop and pool were closed. But the Historic Davenport is definitely worth it.

The highlight was the delicious breakfast. The room was small and tired with not enough coffee for 2 and no small fridge. These Davenport beds are so soft, my back was not happy and the AC seemed to be controlled centrally so we were hot and then freezing after 5am. The most disappointing was the "complimentary WA wine tasting" - we were sent to the restaurant and the person there clearly did not want to deal with us and sent us to the Peacock Lounge where we were served one white and one red as tasting but the server said he had no idea what wines they were - type or vineyard! He had to go back and check. They were Black Harvest - with all the amazing WA wines, why this discount brand? Do not give out this complimentary wine tasting as WA wines.

You really "feel" the historic nature of the property....you must appreciate the vintage wood key cubby at the front desk...just awesome! Staff were absolutely AMAZING! and you cannot beat the free Starbucks coffee at the front desk. We arrived to not one, but two weddings and we were on the 4th floor...we can still feel the bass but it was over before midnight, which was nice. Otherwise, we will be back!

Everything was good until we checked in our room and the comforter had old dried blood stains. Not sure how staff didn’t see that. Gross

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! The staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the mattress. It was awful! The bed sunk in the middle so bad that neither my husband or I slept well.

The Historic Davenport is an absolute gem. We loved the elegant and opulent spaces. The restaurant had amazing food. We were fortunate to be able to attend High Tea on Sunday. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We will be staying here on our next trip to Spokane.

This is the most remarkable hotel I have ever visited. It is like visiting the Waldorf Astoria in 1919 at the height of the Gilded Age.
