We flew into Spokane for a nice long road trip to explore this part of the USA. This hotel was where we stayed for a few days at the beginning of the trip, and we liked it so much that we returned there for the final night. It is in a primo location. A castle up on the hill with beautiful sunsets. We had planned to stay nearer to the airport on our last night but we liked this hotel and the location worked out well. The rooms were very very clean and the staff were nice and helpful. We had a little problem with the refrigerator in the room, they immediately sent maintenance to replace it. Breakfast was good, basic HIEX done well, they were keeping it clean and fresh. We chatted with the lady staffing the breakfast, and she was really nice and friendly. Nice little balcony overlooking the river, there were hotels on the river but this one is across the road. The location, up on the hill, so pretty. It’s got nice landscaping and some fragrant flowers planted near the front door. Parking was not a problem until that final night, the hotel was full and we were lucky to find a place right by the door. They bake fresh cookies every night and have them available for free at the front desk, really nice especially during these crazy times. Will stay here again when we return to the area. It was easy to walk to our car rental place, about a mile away.

Very clean and close to what we came for. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. They had a very good breakfast we didn’t get to eat any other meals there. The pillows were good the bed was a little to hard for my comfort not really bad just a little.

I was in the week of October 16-22, for a conference. The hotel is a fantastic location, in front of Riverside Park, which is the centre of Spokane, two steps from the congress centre, which reaches walking by the Centennial Trail, a path that costs Spokane River for 38 miles eastward. West. It is advisable for those who have to go to work at the congress centre. They also have the Starbucks in the lobby, and the strippers of long chairs in front of the TV, always in the lobby (very Stefano? :-) The rooms are clean and comfortable, soft and large beds, as in the American style. Then Spokane is a city in the midst of a fabulous nature, in the amazing Washington State.

First of all I want to give a huge shout out to Kimberly and I think Chloe (?) at the front desk who also help run the shuttles. I took a shuttle a few times and both of them were very helpful and had great conversation throughout the trips. The shuttle is one of my favorite perks of this hotel. Not only is it 24 hours but they will also take you to either nearby ******. The Dennys vouchers were nice, and they gave you plenty of options to choose from. I personally enjoyed it more then most breakfast buffets but my husband likes the buffets as he can go back for more so he missed that. The rooms were pretty clean. They also have an amazing espresso/hot drink machine in the lobby that was amazing. My only complaints about this place, was there was no hot tub (though several pictures still show one) and the pool was very cold and smelled of chlorine (more so then most other pools) so we really only enjoyed the pool once out of our week stay. Also once in the middle the the day, power had went out, and actually the locks in my room stopped working during that time (where anyone could come in). They said they were ran on batteries and that shouldnt have happened, but it did. I just stayed in the room the whole time and hoped it wasn't out for too long. I would definitely stay here again because the positive outweighed the negative and overall our stay was good.

Downtown Spokane
This is a difficult one to rate because, in a nutshell, the hotel is fine but the neighbourhood isn’t. We stayed for one night in a suite while visiting Spokane on vacation in the area. Starting off with the positives, parking is plentiful (avoid the bays for Perkins next door, which seemed to be clearly marked), and the hotel is a short walk from downtown and Riverfront Park which is what appealed to us. Our suite was a good size and clean, although a bit dark and I’m not a fan of the rough cast ceilings. Bed and sitting area were comfortable and had everything we needed. Unfortunately this hotel is in a terrible neighbourhood. Felt safe enough by day but after dark absolute carnage unfolds making any prospect of sleep near impossible. Very loud street racing all night on Division Street that the local police don’t seem to have gotten a grip on, and unsavoury groups gathering in the car park late at night that were clearly not hotel guests. There were signs of broken car windows in adjacent streets suggesting a crime problem, although we had no issues. I had to use my noise cancelling ear buds to sleep above the racket from outside, which was less than comfortable. However, it’s more a policing issue than the fault of the hotel. Breakfast was included and was quite adequate, although we were late after a poor night and almost felt we were in the way of staff who were congregating in the breakfast area. I’m a Marriott man but might try the Hilton DoubleTree next time.
