Korta Apartments was a fantastic place to stay in Split. We were a group of 13 spanning age range from 5 to 75. Mia on the front desk was amazingly helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and quiet. The beds were super comfy. Even the coffee and pastries in the morning hit the spot. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Very good location, on the 14th floor of an office building, within 15 minutes walk from the train station, bus station, pier, and ancient city, the room is very spacious and clean, the view is very good (second killing the level of the observation deck). But the problem is that the contact information of the hotel on Trip.com is wrong (it is the phone number of other companies under Luxury, not this store), and the hotel has no front desk. It took me a long time to contact the hotel for accommodation. Figure 3 in the comments is the correct call

We stayed at the Horizon Luxury suites for one night in the superior sea view suite - Blue room No. 5. I was looking for something close to the city and attractions as well as near to the beach. This place is perfectly placed literally a 5min walk to the Marina, old town and Palace and Cathedral. The beach approx 6mins away. The hotel as you may have read is in a converted office block, so from the street it doesn’t look that luxury! Also the doors are totally hidden, to the left of the front, that just looked like windows but actually a concealed entrance which opens when you approach it. The suites are on the 5th floor and I’d arranged to drop off our suitcases ahead of check-in. Nothing was too much trouble suitcases stored, taxi booked the following day to the airport for €40 paid directly to the taxi. The suite was massive, wonderful air conditioning and had everything we needed. The reception desk also recommended restaurants and provided a map to make it easy to navigate the city, I honestly can’t fault this, place…. It’s a little unconventional, so some people may prefer to stick to a traditional hotel, but we’d definitely stay here again, A big thank you to Ivan and the reception team who helped make our stay so easy and enjoyable, your communication and helpfulness was much appreciated.

The hostel itself was so clean, comfortable and moderately large and nice. The desk was good as much as the school accommodation was renovated and the building and the interior of the hostel were really clean. Good hostel view
The bed is a single bed, so it's not good for couples.
Everything else is good, but the location is a bit bad. I took Uber to downtown, but it's about 45 kuna. Still, it was okay because it wasn't far away

Lovely hotel. We stayed 5 nights. Staff are very helpful and enthusiastic. Pool, restaurant and sun loungers all very close - with beautiful views of the Adriatic. Food at the hotel is excellent - good choice for breakfast and also a la carte evening menu. Places we visited: - Split (local bus - stops outside the hotel) - Omis (local bus the other way to Split). Nice location with a great trip by boat up the river - Local swimming very good close to Hotel Split, with facilities nearby (only a couple of hundred metres away) Thanks to all of the staff for being so helpful.

PPeterVery nice and large room, with beautiful views on the central square. staff is extremely nice and helpful. as the hotel is very small (upper floor of the building - each floor hosts a different hotel), there is no hotel restaurant. for breakfast, you get vouchers for neighboring restaurant ”bokeria”, which is very nice as well. the breakfast was excellent, especially the Dalmatian poached eggs.
hotel location couldn't be better - right in the center of the old town, all sights are just a 5 minute walk away. the hotel is in a pedestrian zone, but if you are travelling with heavy luggage, they can arrange to bring you very close to the hotel (by golf cart).
even though centrally located, if you have the windows shut, you don't hear any noise.
I can highly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting the old town of Split. I hope to be able to return one day.

Ddorothyc341My husband and I travelled on the 16th September on British Airways, which took 2hrs 40 minutes from Heathrow. Jet2 stop flying to Split after 31st August during the autumn and winter period. We stayed in 'Up There Design Rooms' which was in an excellent location with a short walk to all the touristy sights and nearby small beach. The rooms were on the 6th Floor gained by an elevator and were fairly basic in as much as furniture. Two swivel stools, a swivel chair, double bed with small tables either side and a clothes closet and shelves. We had a wonderful shower unit, toilet and sink unit with shelves underneath. The room was huge with windows all along this side with a view of lovely little white houses with red roofs going uphill towards the mountains. The window sill went the whole length along the window which was very useful and underneath was a socket for recharging phone or IPad. Incidentally the Wifi was really good. The best part of staying in 'Up There rooms' was the small coffee lounge, where you could help yourself to small biscuits, fruit, tea or coffee any time you needed a little refreshment at tables with some astonishing views of the Port. Adjoining this was the reception desk, manned by three outstanding staff, namely Petra, Valentina and Marko. They gave information about where to go, how to get to, and anything you needed to do, absolutely worth their weight in gold, nothing was a bother for them. THIS made the holiday all the more enjoyable. Couldn't beat this hotel for cleanliness, pristine white sheets, duvet and towels every other day... BLISS. The Old Town was really interesting, with shops, restaurants, and bars scattered around it in centuries old streets and buildings. It's a warren of little streets and took a couple of days to get your bearings in and around it. We found a lovely bar in the Central Square called 'No Stress'. It certainly lived up to it's name. Just sitting there having a quiet drink and people watching was pure relaxation. The waiters and staff were so pleasant and efficient. We didn't have a meal there, but I DID sample their Tiramasui and it was 'top notch' to say the least. The cleanliness was second to none, as the refuse collector came round every Hour in his little truck and picked up the trash from shops, restaurants, and bars, consequently there was not a scrap of litter anywhere. We walked the hind legs of a donkey, as it was so easy to do so, because the terrain was pretty flat around the Port. And there were seats everywhere to rest the weary legs if necessary. The Port was 'busy-busy' and Ocean Liners coming and going each day, and lots of large ferries taking tourists to the surrounding towns and islands. The main promenade area was breathtaking. Best I've ever had the fortune to encounter in my travels and once again immaculately litter-free. We walked up to the Park and the views were superb looking down on to the Port and exquisite promenade. Th

GGuest UserIt is a good option for you if you drive since the hotel is located 15 minutes from Split old town. It is a fair distance to drive to the centre. The hotel is new and clean with a modern interior design of the room which makes it pleasant to stay. The well design of the hotel room makes it feel spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast is relatively simple with not much choice but that does not bother us since Split has many great restaurants out there waiting for us.
Overall, I am satisfied with this stay and would recommend this hotel since it is clean and beautiful.

The room and building were very clean with great facilities, though some of the room furniture, like the desk chair, could use a bit of a refurbishment. This however for most travelers will be no issue as you will want to be out and about exploring the city and using the room as just a home base. I will absolutely come and stay again, and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Split and my stay at Slavija. It can be a bit hard to find to those new to the winding streets, but the location is perfect for an unforgettable trip. Thanks to the staff at the Slavija for an incredible stay!

GGuest UserAfter having a booking with an alternative apartment cancelled by the hosts at last minute (2 weeks before travelling to Split!!) we had to frantically search for new accommodation, and I’m so glad we stumbled across Central Pearl! The name certainly reflects how we felt about this place. Before travelling, the hosts contacted us to ask if we needed a transfer from the airport (which we declined) and what time we would be arriving. First off, the location was absolutely perfect; only a 5 minute walk from the Riva, Diocletian’s Palace and the Bus Station, and about a 15 minute walk to Bačvice Beach. There was also a convenience store at the end of the street which was super handy! When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff (unfortunately we didn’t catch her name) who gave us a business card with the code to enter the building and a phone number to call if we needed anything. We didn’t actually see any other members of staff after this until we checked out, but our rooms were made up everyday by housekeepers. The rooms are not the largest, but certainly not cramped at all and absolutely spotless, as well as being very tastefully decorated. We were also very impressed with the bathroom (again, spotless), which had a walk in rainfall shower as well as a detachable shower head, both of which were very powerful. There was also a mini fridge and hairdryer provided, as well as a very effective air con. The TV did not have any signal from the aerial but Netflix was available and logged in ready to use (not sure if this was left logged in by previous guests or the hosts). The only downside to this accommodation is the noise from the road outside, as it is situated on the main road down to the Riva/bus station/port and is very busy at all times of day/night. Unfortunately even with the windows closed it was still very loud, but in fairness to Central Pearl they provided ear plugs for both of us to use which were very effective at blocking the noise out so we still slept well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Central Pearl and would happily come back again without any hesitation, as well as recommending it to everyone!

This is not like a hotel, more like a villa, the security of it is not very high, as it has 2 entrances.
The entrance from the pool, anyone can access it without a problem.
The swimming pool was quite dirty, it has a lot of bugs floating, and also it has not been regularly cleaned by the staff.
It has a lot of restaurants nearby, and the quality and the price are better than those tourist meals in the old town.
The lift was broken on the first day, second day they informed us it is fixed. But it still has a little bit sudden sinking issue.
I guess Croatia does not have regulation of fix term lift checking, as it does not have any certificate in the lift inside/outside.

The right side of the balcony has a big tennis field on the 2nd-floor level, it is very close, and it was quite annoying that people can look over easily.
The suite does not worth 4 stars. The rug is super old, it has some stains on it.
The Front door lock is looking new, it is safe, but some electricity installation was not installed properly, it looks like you can pull them out easily.
The Electric Safety box is not working with the password, the hotel left a key in there for use.
Breakfast arrangement is well managed for guests with early tour, they could arrange breakfast box including 1 fruit, 3 breads, and 1 yogurt at 06am to 07am.

MMINGSHUNThe hotel has a good location, facing the bay. It's a pity that the jacuzzi faces a wall, right next to the bed. It is far from the imagination of looking at the sea view soaking bathtub 😂 Parking on the surrounding road parking 50-60 kuna or underground parking at the hotel next door 120 kuna The small town is not big, it is convenient to come and go.

However, there are a few things one should be aware of before booking: The hotel is in the historic district just about 5 min walk west from the Prominade area. Taxis cannot drive in, so it is necessary to walk in with one's baggage. Also, any excursions will start with a walk out of the area to the main taxi stand. Navigating the area can be a challenge the first couple of times; one MUST have the ability to use their maps app. T-mobile - America has an international plan that give you up to 2G speed unlimited data and texting, but I highly recommend getting a local sim card. Look at the map of the city before choosing this hotel. There are a lot of nice restaurants within 2-5 minutes walking. Furthermore, the office closes from 11pm till 7am. Most importantly, they DO NOT take credit cards. IF you did not pay for the room online, you will need local cash, and you will need it to pay the taxes on the room, and for a taxi if you booked it through the hotel. Cash only. (They do have a zelle option, but I could not get it to work. I recommend cash. Speaking of cash, one should get it from an actual bank ATM as the rates 11% vs the 22-25% some private ATMs charge.)
I give the hotel 4 of 5 for comfort, 5/5 for cleanliness, 3 or 5 for location.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on the third floor of a small shopping mall to the east of the ancient city wall. It is easy to find and the location is very convenient. It is a 2-minute walk to the ancient city. Although it is a small hotel similar to a bed and breakfast, the room layout facilities are basically complete, clean, and the size is reasonable. There is only one person in charge at the front desk, who is very serious and responsible, and answers all questions. There are not many hotels in Priest, so I highly recommend this hotel in terms of cost performance.
