First of all, the picture and text do not match this. It is an apartment in the old city, not a hotel. Secondly, when checking in, you need to pay attention to the email check-in guide in advance. At first, I thought it was a hotel, similar to check-in at the front desk, so when I got to the apartment downstairs, I asked Ctrip customer service and found out that it was a self-check-in. In the end, overall, the apartment owner is quite enthusiastic, so I reluctantly give it 3 points, but Ctrip agents should not deceive consumers like this! Today I booked a B&B for 2 nights on Airbnb. The experience and service were much better than this one, but the price was hundreds of dollars cheaper. It was a very bad experience.

Excellent choice for a visit to Split! The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town, so you can walk to everything. Yet it’s also very quiet at night (room 2). The room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Communication with Mladen was great, who provided lots of recommendations, and even a welcome drink. Would definitely stay again.

There are pros and cons for this place, but in general, pros are more favorable. It is conveniently located in the heart of the historical region, the Diocletian Castle, so, this is a plus. If you arrive by bus or ship, it is a walking distance (around 700m), taking consideration that you cannot access the historical region by car. Considering that are people all around all the time, and that there are restaurants very close to the room, I would expect more noise than what I faced, so this was not a problem. The rooms are well equipped with a nice decoration. Access to the apartment is difficult if you have big luggage or reduced mobility (in fact, a general Croatian problem). There is no breakfast either a complimentary water service (only coffee and tea). The proprietary was very helpful, giving all necessary instructions prior to my arrival. I’m summary, considering the excellent location and conditions, I recommend.

We've had the most amazing stay at Luxury Rooms Bajamonti. The location was fantastic - so centrally located, were able to walk everywhere within the historic old town and venture out to the rest of the city easily. The room was located steps away from Uje Oil Bar - a cafe with terrific food and reasonable prices. On a walking tour, our tour guide walked just past the room, telling facts about this historic neighborhood. The woman who greeted us was so nice! Actually, on day 2, we went to the beach, and lost the room key. By the time we got home, it was already 11 PM. We were so nervous to call this late, admitting that one of the keys was probably at the bottom of the Adriatic sea - but the woman was so nice, understanding and kind - she came to our rescue and opened the door in minutes. The room has everything one might need. In fact, this was the most comfortable bed and pillows we had this whole trip. AC worked it's magic on hot August days, and since the room was so centrally located, we found ourselves periodically stopping by our room to cool off and enjoy complementary beer and water in the fridge. Bajamonti was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia.
