Cute little inn close to the historic cathedral
Cute little inn, just down one flight of stairs from the historic cathedral. The building itself is historic. Room is well furnished and clean. They also provide an electric kettle for tea. The inn is above a restaurant, where the breakfast is served. And the breakfast is a veritable feast! I highly recommend this place!
One minor detail: it wasn’t clear where to check in. I just went into the restaurant, which seemed to be the only option. A “check in here” sign would be very helpful.

Kurzurlaub in Speyer
Gute Zentrale Lage, Zimmer gut, sauber und das Bett war bequem.
Frühstück haben wir dazu gebucht, war gut und reichlich, leider mit 17,50 €/Persone sehr teuer.
Insgesamt gutes Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub.

Wir haben das Gasthaus zum Halbmond für 2 Übernachtungen in dem beliebten Erkerzimmer besucht. Man begrüßte uns freundlich und händigte uns den Zimmerschlüssel aus. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und sauber. Leider hatte man vergessen, vor unserem Besuch die Heizung aufzudrehen und es war wirklich kalt in dem Raum. Auch im Bad war die Heizung aus.🥶 Im Großen und Ganzen ist das Zimmer in Ordnung gewesen, es gab aber einige Ecken, wo etwas renoviert werden könnte. Etwas gewundert hat mich, dass wohl der Zimmerservice das Bad sauber gemacht hat, auch die Handtücher wurden getauscht, das Bett blieb aber unberührt. Das im Haus befindliche spanische Restaurant ist sehr gut. Ein Frühstück für 17,50 € pro Person fanden wir überteuert und haben es nicht gebucht. Da bekommt man in der Altstadt von Speyer günstigeres Frühstück geboten.

Wir haben zwar nur eine Nacht hier verbracht, aber waren sehr angetan. Sauber, ruhig, geschmackvoll, hübsch. Und herrlich ruhig! Personal super freundlich. Sehr feines Frühstück. Reichlich Parkplätze in der Nähe. Alles fußläufig erreichbar. Gerne wieder!
