"we missed our flight and had to stay for 1 more night in Athens hence we chanced upon this hotel/apartment and glad we did stay cuz it's all we needed after a whole day at the airport. there a kettle, microwave, condiments and even complimentary bottled water and breadsticks. I booked the room at 10pm for 3 adults 1 child and yet they managed to set up the 2 singles beds instead as advertised sofa bed. we are truly grateful for this place and will highly recommend it to all. even the price is affordable. its really clean and comfortable. Mr Thasos is very helpful and kind."

"Great for layovers! I had a spacious, comfortable apartment with comprehensive amenities. There was a washing machine, fireplace, kitchen, etc. It was a bit far from the airport but still accessible, as it was easy to Uber to and from Thresh. While filling in the self check-in/check-out forms was a repetitive process, I did feel there was good communication between staff and guest. Would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to sleep at the airport!"

"I temporarily lived here because the plane was cancelled, but the room was large and the overall equipment was good. I didn't know how to adjust the air conditioner. There was no food around. It was recommended to call Uber at the airport! It is about 10 to 15 drives away, the service is good, and the 24-hour phone is accepted."

"It is a homestay apartment, there is no front desk and no service. The key to the room is in a small box on the wall of the door. If it weren't for the young people in the building to help find the password, I couldn't get the key. The surrounding area is very desolate, and it takes 15 minutes to walk to small supermarkets and small restaurants to see.
The house itself has no problem, the facilities are complete, but there are no slippers and washing equipment. You can call to make an appointment for the next day's taxi to the airport for 25 euros. In short, if you don't go to Europe often, don't live in this kind of homestay."

"The studios are easy to find and ideal for overnight stay to catch an early flight as it is located only 15 minutes from the airport terminal.
Check-in is fully online and access is via a door code. Communication was via Viber, and responsive and helpful.
Downside: the “cinema” setup seems only to work via cable and PC, not wirelessly and the shower floor and furniture are bit dated.
What truly stood out was the taxi service of Avelink: reliable, friendly, and punctual. One of the best I’ve pre-ordered!"

Rred8meThe kitchen in the room is fully equipped, suitable for family travel, and the baby bed is also prepared intimately. Children can also choose! The location is not far from the airport 10-15 minutes drive! The room was very clean and there was no front desk, but the check-in message was very clear!

GGuest UserHad a few hours between connecting flights from Athens airport, so booking a night at the Sofitel was the best option to avoid non-hotel room surprises and miscommunication with apartment owners after a 14 hour flight. The distance from the terminal gates was literally across the street which was what I had hoped for.
The cons:
I came in with a 25Kg suitcase which was visually apparently heavy after a long flight and the hotel booked me the farthest room on my floor. Ok, no big deal. I’m young and strong.
The first thing I wanted to do was just lie down on the bed to unwind after a long flight. I pulled up the tucked blanket to find that the bed sheets were stained near the pillows. Not something I would expect from a luxury hotel. Now I’m thinking if the sheets were even clean and what was the nature of the stains. Being extremely tired, I let it go and slept far from the stains.
Went to take a shower. Two minutes in, I noticed the water not draining and water level rising. Had to shorten my shower time and abort with soapy feet to let the water drain before flooding the shower.
Exited the room in the morning for my flight and noticed that the door was actually not locked while I was sleeping because the latch was stuck in the door.
I feel that I would have just left the hotel a note on the shower and door and not write this review but the stained bed cover is unacceptable for the price I paid.
