We were traveling as a group of 12, 4 kids. The “Palace” pool was open to the public with a fee , which made it difficult for us guests to find parking . The pool area was nice with a mountain view backdrop. The pool closed each night a 7pm which was early and disappointing to the kids. Breakfast was ok , cold eggs. 2 carafs of coffee for the whole breakfast room. Only 3 people allowed in the small gym at a time. You also beed to reserve your workout time ! Definitely not a 5 star property or experience. I also paid more for my premium room for 3 people than the rest of our group . They were all upgraded 1 or 2 categories for free and still paid less than me which soured me to begin with. The receptionist tried to rectify by moving my room closer to the pool . We were originally in a corner of the property far from breakfast ect . Just book a regular room and grt upgraded when they over sell. Wont be back , whe we visit nearby family.

A hotel to be remembered for its personnel kind behavior. We visited Sparti for a close relative health issue and we had to stay for 1 night. Speaking with Mrs. Katia in the reservations dept we understood immediately the friendly attitude. We felt blessed that we stayed in Kyniska Palace hotel and met all wonderful smiling faces of the personnel in reception & breakfast room. Well done amazing girls ! You rock and we will visit you again when in Sparti💗

Beautiful hotel in the spectacular mountains near Sparti, ideally located for ancient Mystras and Sparta and with amazing hiking trails close by. The hotel is build in the style of a village so everything is max 2 stories and the rooms are huge. We have a suite for our family including two teens and have ample soave. All amenities to hand including fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Breakfast has a good choice and the food is delicious. The bar food and dinner are also excellent. There were ample comfortable sun loungers by the pools. We used the spa area twice in our stay and I can highly recommend both the amenities and treatments. I have to mention the staff, every one of them were fantastic. Pleasant, interested and helpful leading to an exceptional guest experience. Highly recommend you stay here. Great place, great staff and great value.

We had to cancel our booking due to a nasty robbery 10 minutes from the hotel at the Menelaion. The staff were so kind which helped us overcome the shock. They have arranged for us to be able to return so we can enjoy a stay another time. Thank you

I made a reservation 6 months ago for the next weekend (Nov 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6). The reason was we are running in the Spartan Race championship and we knew Sparta would be crowded. We are leaving for Sparta today (Oct 31st) via Paris. Yesterday we received an e-mail that my reservation was cancelled because they could not charge to the credit card. With ZERO effort to contact us, they just cancelled an arranged trip since 6 months to which we had to qualify makin 3 races in my country of origin (Mexico). We replied to their e-mail sending another credit card information, and they answered that they are full and can not do anything for us. They just gave away our 6-month reservation with an e-mail. So if you are going to Sparta, avoid this people, they may give your room to a better the best bidder.

I had an initial problem with my reservation. However, reservations team and hotel worked very hard to reinstall my reservation; from then on everything was a spectacular experience. Hotel is beautiful and well maintained, views are spectacular and surrounding area amazing. Convenient distance from Sparta and Mystras, te be accessible but remain in a clam area. Food was delicious and elegant serving. However, the jewel of the hotel are its people. From Manager to any other person with contact to customer you will find kindness, warmth and service commitment. I will come back. If you are planning to go to Sparta and not stay here, you will be making a mistake.

We had an amazing stay and experience at Kyniska hotel. We were greeted so warmly by the personnel and the manager and knew from the first moment that we would have a wonderful time! The rooms and surroundings are so beautiful but also quiet so you can absolutely relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. The personnel goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and also help you with any issues you might have. Thank you Dimitris for the amazing hospitality and congratulations to all the team Antonia, George, Dimitris the housekeeping lady as well as the so sweet ladies in the spa that provided a 5 star service! Υπέροχο ξενοδοχείο σε μια υπέροχη τοποθεσία και με ένα υπέροχο προσωπικό!!! Ιδανικό για οικογένειες με παιδιά . Πήγαμε για τρείς ημέρες και περάσαμε υπέροχα, αυτοκίνητο χρησιμοποιήσαμε μόνο για να πάμε να δούμε το άγαλμα του Λεωνίδα στην πόλη της Σπάρτης στα 10 λεπτά από το ξενοδοχείο
