Stopping at the new Bitter End Yacht Club is a must! Beautifully rebuilt since Hurricane Irma demolished this 50+ year sailors’ respite, we had a spectacular table for dinner overlooking the beach and North Sound thanks to the most welcoming hostess, Bibi, who was even so gracious as to offer to take our photo as the sun set. Alana, our friendly server, did a lovely job. And also a big shout out to the head of the bars, Saturn, who remembered us from our previous visit a year ago, and who ran a ‘tight ship’ at the beach bar built to look like a boat. The afternoon rum punch was delicious. Do yourself a favor and head to the North Sound on Virgin Gorda!

Sailing up North Sound to be greeted by Bitter End Yacht Club. A very cool location with stunning views. There is still some construction but this does not deter from the great vibe, excellent menu and good service. I had the chicken roti which was just perfect. Bitter End, It’s a must!

The Bitter End Yacht Club is absolutely amazing. The service is top notch. The food and drinks are great. If you go and are lucky enough to meet Saturn, then you are lucky enough. Saturn is the best bartender/mixologist in the Caribbean. If you are in North Sound you definitely need to stop here.

We spent seceral incredible nights at the Bitter End Yacht Club in North Sound, and I can’t recommend it enough – it’s a real game-changer! ⛵️ From the breathtaking views to the welcoming vibe, everything about this place is magical. Right from our approach, the dock hands were super helpful, providing clear instructions for an easy docking experience. The ample maneuvering space is a big plus, making the docking process seamless. Our culinary journey here started with mouth-watering conch fritters, heavenly pizza, and perfectly spicy and sticky chicken wings. My friends had the pork and mahi mahi tacos. They were blown away, saying it was the best meal of our trip so far! But what truly sets the Bitter End apart is the incredible staff. Their warmth and efficiency made our stay truly unforgettable. Though we’ve enjoyed our time at Scrub Island Resort marina in the past, the Bitter End Yacht Club has now taken the top spot on our list. Not only is it more economical, but the ease of docking, combined with the exceptional service, makes it our preferred choice. IFor anyone navigating through North Sound, the Bitter End Yacht Club isn’t just a stopover; it’s a destination that feels like home – if home were a slice of paradise. ️ #BitterEndYachtClub #SailingLife #CulinaryAdventure

We recently visited Bitter end and had an exceptional experience, thanks to the wonderful staff. We were greeted by the concierge at the front desk. Her name, if i recall correctly, is Alicia/ Alissha. She greeted us with a pleasant smile and was incredibly polite. She assisted us with transfer to and from the baths, ensuring we had a smooth and enjoyable trip. She even checked the schedule to see if there were any cruise ships in port, and luckily, there weren't, which meant we had an amazing time without the usual crowds. She also recommended that we have dinner at the clubhouse after returning from the baths. The food was delicious and the staff there were just as friendly and welcoming. We also grabbed some drinks at the quarter deck where we met Saturn!! Best cocktails ever!! We had such a fantastic experience that we are already planning to visit again for Christmas with more friends.

Overall, it was disappointing. It seems more like a boutique. The team is not well trained, and the comfort is so so. There are better options in the region, and the food is not suitable for health-conscious dining. There is no 'vibe,' and we regretted booking. Bitter End used to be the go-to resort for beginning sailors, but the maritime offering was a flop.

I'm not a sailor, but I love boats and being on the water. I've known about the Bitter End Yacht Club for many years, follow them on social media, and always wanted to visit. We were staying the week on Jost Van Dyke and took the ferry over to Virgin Gorda for a day trip. We skipped The Baths as there was a cruise ship in town and it was going to be too crowded. So we took a taxi to Gun Creek and then the free ferry over to the BEYC to spend a few hours. I was glad because I got to spend the day just relaxing at the bar, restaurant, and beach area. It was the perfect place to just chill, look at all the boats and the beautiful water. We grabbed a couple of drinks at the "boat bar" before heading to the Buoy Room for lunch. We ate some pizza and just relaxed at the bar. Before we knew it, it was time to get back on the ferry to start making the trip back to JVD. We stopped in the boutique to grab a couple of t-shirts and souvenirs before heading out. Overall, a nice day spent relaxing at the BEYC and well worth the extra effort to get there. One of these days I'll make the trip in a boat of my own!

We really enjoyed sailing on the free ferry over to the Bitter End, having drinks at the boat bar. It was lively, they have delicious pizzas made on the spot. I saw other food coming out that looked very good as well. Our very nice bartender told us some hurricane stories and made a mean Painkiller. They claimed to have the best key lime pie and they aren’t joking. I love the stuff, this was primo. I saw where they sell it frozen in their shop…I wish I could have taken some back.

During our 8 night sailing trip around the BVI aboard two 46ft monohull yachts, 8 friends and I booked 2 slips at Bitter End Yacht Club. Booking was easy via email and was followed up with secure dockage agreements for payment. There are many bookable balls at BEYC but we were delighted that we booked slips. The dockmaster was very helpful with our docking and we were quickly free to explore the paradise that is BEYC. This really is a beautiful place in a perfect location with great views and facilities. The staff were all friendly and helpful and seemed happy in their work and keen to provide the highest standard of customer experience. We enjoyed the beach and swimming in the sea then buying gifts in the excellent boutique. Unfortunately, the queue for showers meant we never got to enjoy these but fortunately we had on board facilities. We had delicious pizzas for dinner in the Buoy Room at an outdoor table overlooking the water watching the sunset and wished at that point we had booked a two night stay! After dinner, the music started and the talented DJ/singer got everyone on the floor dancing to a great mix of songs. This rounded off a perfect day. Thank you to all at BEYC for our wonderful stay.
