"This was my first stay at Crowne Plaza Suites Shenzhen Futian, and I was met by the incredibly warm and helpful Amy Wong at reception. She thoughtfully arranged a comfortable room for my mother and me and patiently provided information about the hotel's surroundings. The hotel's location is excellent, with a compact commercial area nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. The hotel's interior environment is classically elegant, offering a striking contrast to the surrounding area – it felt like stepping into two different eras, a truly unique experience, and great for photos. The hotel facilities are comprehensive; the indoor heated pool was very comfortable and unaffected by the typhoon. The Western restaurant's breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with fresh, delicious, and nutritious ingredients. The bedding in the room was incredibly soft and comfortable, pristine white, and impeccably clean throughout. The high-floor room offered expansive views and a serene, comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend it to everyone."

"I recently stayed at this industrial-style hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel’s relaxing vibe and prime location. Situated right next to a massive mall, the hotel provides easy access to countless shopping and dining options, making it a fantastic choice for convenience and entertainment. Plus, being so close to the Sungang MTR station made getting around the city effortless. **The Rooms and Ambiance** The room itself, while not overly spacious, was well-designed and comfortable. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The industrial aesthetic of the hotel adds a unique charm, creating an inviting space that feels modern yet cozy. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of exploring or shopping. **Amenities That Make a Difference** One of the standout features of the hotel is its impressive range of amenities. On the second floor, they offer in-house massages, which are a fantastic way to relax and rejuvenate. Additionally, the yoga sound retreat is a unique offering that adds a wellness touch to the stay (available for a fee). For anyone looking to recharge both body and mind, these options are a wonderful addition. The restaurant deck was another highlight for me. The food and drinks were exceptional, with a variety of options to suit different tastes. The ambiance on the deck made dining a truly enjoyable experience, whether you’re looking for a quiet meal or a lively evening with friends. **Friendly Service** The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and taken care of, which added a personal touch to the experience. **Room for Improvement** While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, there is one area I believe could be improved: the WiFi. Although the hotel offers free WiFi, not all phones could connect to the network easily. In a modern hotel like this, I feel the WiFi system should be more user-friendly and accessible to everyone. For a hotel with such excellent amenities and a focus on guest comfort, this small frustration stood out more than it otherwise might have. **Final Thoughts** Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay in the city. Its combination of a great location, thoughtful amenities, and friendly service makes it stand out. While the WiFi situation could use some improvement, it didn’t detract too much from what was otherwise a memorable and enjoyable experience. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others!"

"Choosing a hotel in China can often be a hit-or-miss experience—but the Palace Hotel in Luohu, Shenzhen is truly a hidden gem. Located just 400 meters from the Shenzhen Railway Station, it’s a short and convenient walk—mostly through well-lit underground shopping alleys, with part of the route even passing a lively food street. The location is unbeatable. Right outside the hotel, Line 1 Metro is to your right, and Line 9 is to your left—both within 200 meters from the lobby. The hotel is also just 500 meters from Luohu Commercial City, one of Shenzhen’s largest malls, with hundreds of shops offering everything from electronics and knockoffs to dried food, fashion, massage parlours, and eateries. But a convenient location is only part of what makes a great stay—comfort matters, and this hotel delivers. Newly built in 2023, it’s modern, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything a tourist might need. The rooms are big and spacious. Free self-service laundry and dryers mean you can pack light. There’s also a gym, and within 500 meters, you’ll find an abundance of food options. Service is another standout. The staff are attentive and responsive. Towels are replaced promptly when needed, and even small gestures—like an extra bottle of mineral water—don’t go unnoticed. Security is excellent, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I must give special mention to Miss Long (龙小姐) at the reception. Her attention to detail and dedication to service were truly impressive. What really stood out was when she personally carried three new 24” suitcases (which I had ordered from Xiaomi and delivered to the front desk) all the way to my room—an act that perfectly embodies “going the extra mile.” As a retired senior manager, I strongly urge the hotel’s leadership to recognize her potential. If you’re heading to Shenzhen and want a hotel with superb service and an unbeatable location, I highly recommend the Palace Hotel. It’s located just to the left of the Shangri-La Hotel—but with better value and warmth. We booked four rooms for our stay from April 23 to April 26. I stayed in Room 5419."

"A perfect 5 nights Stay Thanks to a Fantastic Team Checked in close to midnight, the reception was fast and seamless. One staff went at length (forgot to write down his name as we were too tired), to offer help to set up internet and get room service as we missed our dinner due to flight delays. We are impressed with the helpful concierge, smiley cleaners, and the attentive breakfast team—everyone was friendly, professional, and made our stay wonderful. A truly well-run establishment! Though the hotel is not at CBU but taxis are easily available, and KK Mall next door provides the convenience. The view from the room is fantastic"

"This hotel's pretty nice. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby. (I like the Ancient Barbecue place next store.) The hotel's also across from a shopping mall, but it's a bit too high end for my tastes. Two of the workers were pretty nice. One helped me order a pizza. However, a couple of the women behind the counter were snickering at me when I got my pizza. (Yeah, yeah. I'm a foreigner who eats pizza. So what? I can't get good pizza in my current city.) If you choose this hotel, be careful with the map on Trip.com. it has you turning right out of Exit B. With the road on your left. No, turn left so that the road is on your right. The fancy mall will be across the street on your right. Walk straight to the intersection. The hotel is kitty corner from the intersection."

"A heartfelt thank you to my personal butler, Sharon. From check-in to every minor detail, her responses were incredibly prompt, and she was very attentive to our stay experience. The rest of the staff were also exceptionally friendly, making us feel incredibly welcome and at home 🫰. The hotel boasts excellent views, and its proximity to Chegongmiao Metro Station exit (less than a 5-minute walk) was a major plus! Blue taxis are always readily available right outside the entrance. Regarding the facilities: Being an older hotel (built in 2009), it understandably shows its age, but everything remains within acceptable standards. The shower temperature control could sometimes be inconsistent, fluctuating between too hot and too cold, which was a slight drawback 😥. Additionally, the room lighting was a bit dim, and the older television didn't support screen casting. Despite these minor points, my overall experience was excellent. A huge thank you to Sharon and all the staff at JW Hotel; your warmth and patience genuinely made me fall in love with this city ❤️."

"Due to changes in our travel plans, we had to book our three-night stay separately in August. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring we stayed in the same room throughout our visit. Daniel at the front desk was particularly helpful, providing us with valuable information about the hotel and the surrounding area. A big thank you to him! The hotel is centrally located in the Nanshan area and is quite new and very clean. There is a subway station and plenty of dining options nearby. Our room featured a modern design and layout, with plenty of power and USB outlets, as well as smart voice control. Free self-laundry facilities are available, which may be staffed during busy hours. The breakfast area is spacious and offers a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, along with fruits, all served buffet-style. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning."

"I have to give a huge shout-out to The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen! My stay here was absolutely perfect, a truly luxurious experience from the moment I stepped into the lobby. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Futian CBD, next to Ping An Finance Centre, offering amazing views! The room facilities were impeccable. The bedding was so comfortable I never wanted to get out of bed, and the bathroom came with a standard large bathtub. The attention to detail and quality was superb. Housekeeping was incredibly responsive; the attendant even neatly organized my skincare products while cleaning, which was a very thoughtful touch. What truly deserves the most praise is the service team! From the front desk to the concierge, everyone proactively offered assistance. They were incredibly thoughtful and warm. Whether it's for business or leisure, this hotel is definitely a top-tier choice in Shenzhen."

"Facilities: The hotel provides laundry facilities (washer and dryer), which is a huge plus for long-term business travelers. The gym is a bit small, and it's a shame there's no swimming pool. Food: Breakfast was excellent; the food was thoughtfully prepared and rivaled the quality of upscale dining. A complimentary fruit platter was also provided in the room. Room: The room offered a great view, showcasing Shenzhen's unique charm (see pictures). The only drawback was a lingering renovation smell in the room, which required the air conditioning to be on to mitigate it, and staying for extended periods caused throat discomfort."

"We were able to check in early as there was a room available when we arrived in the morning. The room was spacious and well-laid out, with a nice view. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered a great view of the Futian CBD, though it was a shame that from this corner room, we couldn't see the entire Lianhua Mountain. The facilities were all complete, and even food deliveries could be sent to the room by robot. The swimming pool facilities were excellent, providing lockers, bathrobes, towels, and a lounge area. You could also use the hot and cold plunge pools and the sauna. Despite being right next to Futian Station, which is in the very heart of the city, the area wasn't overly crowded. It offers a quiet escape in a bustling location, making it the best value-for-money option."
