We were 2 hours early so we called in to the hotel to check we were parked in the right place while we waited to check in. The amazing host let us book in straight away (we were out of season so it was not as busy as in the summer!) He was so welcoming and friendly we instantly felt good. He showed us to a lovely room with an amazing view insisting on carrying our case. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble. We were only there for the one night but would definitely return and recommend this hotel highly.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel More. The family who runs the hotel are warm, welcoming, and great hosts. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful and VERY well maintained. There is a lush garden all around the property including in the pool area. The pool is private, quiet and again, simply beautiful. We felt our every need was attended to. The pool area is open until 9pm, which was a nice change from our other stays on this trip where some pools closed as early as 6pm! The area around the hotel is fantastic. It is a 5 minute walk to shopping, eating, and maybe 10 minutes from the old town. Everything in the area was open late, so there was always something open for a late night bite to eat. Having said that, the immediate area around the hotel is very quiet at night, and that was appreciated. The hotel made it very clear before arrival that a certain level of quiet must be maintained at all times, and even more so during other times as this is a bylaw in Sozopol. That made us feel very comfortable. If you are planning to party all night: THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR YOU. Things to note: We were on the 4th floor, and there is no lift. Not a problem for us but if you have mobility issues, ask for a lower floor. The air conditioning works very well. You will be very comfortable for your stay. Parking is only available for an extra charge of 12 lev/day. We used the street parking, but it is VERY scarce. We just got lucky.

It was a wonderful experience! Very beautiful place, very quiet, a lot of hospitality, perfect cleanliness, very friendly staff and a very kind manager. The room was big, very clean and it was cleaned daily. The balcony was to small … It was a very fine holiday in this hotel!

Plus: it is quiet, have a good position, the price is fair, provide parching spot for a fee and provide you all that you need for good accommodation. Also, the rules are clear exposed before the booking process, in order to be clear for everybody that the people who like to party and make noise are not welcome at this hotel. And I like this! Minus: room and furniture are a little bit old. Everything is functional, but not perfect ergonomically or in perfect condition. Best: the owner and his wife will do almost the impossible for your wellbeing, and will do the extra miles with a smile on the face. Just to experience this is worth to stay at this hotel.

Beautiful family-run hotel in the heart of the city. Walkable to all the attractions. The owner is great, attentive to all your needs, you will feel at home here. Very clean and safe place, highly recommended.

We, elderly 2 person, stayed there for 4 nights. Wonderful stay, overall. Extremely welcome and helpful owner, did everything for our wellbeing. Clean, cosy (albeit a bit old-furnitured, didnt disturb us at all) room with a balcony sea view-the beach and old town are within several mins walking distance, however bear in mind Sozopol is rather hilly and hotel is located uphill ;) Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel More in Room #42 for three nights during the last week of September--the summer crowds had departed before our arrival. The simple but clean and comfortable top floor room has a small balcony (with two chairs) that has a SUPERB view of Sozopol's beautiful bay. Also, the hotel is an easy 10-minute walk from the town's commercial center and an easy 20-minute walk from the old town. What both blew us away and charmed us, however, during our stay was the warmth of the innkeepers who went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Whether it was extra towels and an umbrella for the beach--the lounge chair vendors had already closed for the season by the time we arrived--or complementary bottles of water, the owners were quick to accommodate us. We especially appreciated the home-made breakfasts, provided at the absurdly low price of 12 BGN (6 USD) per person per day. Each day the breakfast was somewhat different, but it was always delicious and always included Bulgarian specialties. In our view those visiting Sozopol would be wise to stay at Hotel More.

I am staying in a one bedroom for a few days and my gf came for two nights just to hang out she has her own place booked and everything and the owner basically attacked us this morning. He said this is only for one person bla bla, and I explained that, what if I was single and picked up a girl at the bar and we came back, no this is not allowed to bring someone else and I am like so, I should book a two bedroom and just before I take the girl that I randomly met up, should ask her for money cuz I am single but in a two bedroom ***?? Only you can stay you woke me two nights in a row, I am like hello this is the summer time people are a bit noisy, no because there is a sensor it seems that registers how many people come in. Would you believe the paranoya that is haunting this guy. Sensors and stuff, why don't you place two snipers to stake out the place and keep safe like area 51. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! P.S. Strongly recommend that if you book a single better not hook up with any boys or girls depending, because you won't be able to take them back to your room cuz it's for one person and you will trip the motion sensors and Seal team 6 will come and beat your ass. Seriously terrible place, I was shocked, still am to be honest.

Friendly and very helpful staff. We arrived by car not knowing how impossible it would be to find a parking space in Sozopol. Most parking spots are paid for with annual subscriptions by locals and cars do get towed away if parked illegally. Luckily the staff at Hotel More have their own parking spaces for 12 leva and they guided us on the street. Also shared great tipa to walk to the old town. The room was very clean, and quiet. We stayed for 1 night. Great stay overall.
