An incredibly beautiful place. An old farm with a wide range of possibilities in the outdoor area. Wildly romantic and huge.
We were in the main building and unfortunately had an older room! Our room was very dark and the bathroom is in dire need of an update. For this reason we didn't use this additionally booked night.

Dream wedding with obstacles. We had an absolutely gorgeous wedding at the San Lorenzo a Linari property. The on-site team was super friendly and accommodating. We and our guests felt completely comfortable and at home during our stay. Why only 4 instead of 5 stars?
The sales team of the company behind Linari is very sales-driven and took the fun out of us during the planning. Thanks to our very great wedding planner Birgit (TOSCANA MANIA Wedding Planner) and the great team on site (Michelle, Chiara and Charlotta) as well as the fantastic location and perfect weather, we still had the perfect day as we imagined.

We have long experience of Linari over the past 30 years, but this was our first experience under the new ownership. The building and setting is as delightful as ever, even though the gardens are rather less well maintained than they used to be. The apartment was not well equipped for a self-catering venue with our apartment for 8 people having just a few table knives and teaspoons, but neither forks nor spoons. We had to resort to liberating some from another apartment. The anti-mosquito nets on the windows were useless in most apartments with large tears and apparently no maintenance. It is helpful having a restaurant (La Posteria) on site, with a good wine list and dishes. But after a great meal on day 1, it was extremely disappointing to discover on day 5 that the meal was absolutely awful with very slow service and the same dishes (previously great) being virtually inedible. The manager claimed it was the same chef (his wife) but along with untruths about dessert availability, and a different account from the overall manager about an experienced professional chef, the contracted catering in La Posteria is therefore at best unreliable. That meal on our last night did negatively impact our overall experience.

We overnight in the accommodation for the second time. We rented a large apartment for 8 people. Unfortunately, one room is slightly worse than the others. We regret that they removed the central chimney, which gave a special charm to the room. The insulation in the apartment is not the best, but everything else is excellent. The surroundings of the building are beautifully landscaped. Breakfast is great, only the lady in the bar fails to serve a larger number of guests, especially if they are hungry :) So the ham and cheese went quickly. The lady at the front desk is more than friendly and helpful. The facility is located in unspoiled nature, so you are accompanied by the singing of pheasants and the voices of deer. Sometimes you also come across an animal species that some are scared of. Wonderful, especially with the views you enjoy. I recommend.

Hi, I wanted to write this review to say only wonderful things about this place. Stunning and well-kept location both inside and outside. Staff very helpful and attentive to every need, especially Chiara and the gentleman whose name I don't know. Profession and customer care. Spacious rooms (we were in two apartments on the upper floor) with a breathtaking view of the Siena hills. Abundant breakfast. I really recommend it.

I agree all smoke and no fire. Very nice structure but they get lost in the services. We had the large room which is always shown in the photos. Nice but: some of the windows have no shutters or curtains so there is no way to block out the light from outside. The room was cold and we were told it was not possible to heat it. Luckily there were extra blankets available. The bathroom has a hot water tank which is not enough for 4 people. There is no hotel service so the rooms are not cleaned. I've traveled around Tuscany a lot. At that price I expected very different things.

We stayed at this property during a weekend away with friends. Being so many of us, we had booked two apartments, one inside the main building and the other in one of the "secondary" buildings. Both apartments were clean and well kept. Note of merit for the one located in the main building (a historic building from the 16th century), this was in fact incredibly spacious and bright, the terrace and the numerous windows also gave the possibility of overlooking the fantastic typically Tuscan panorama. The staff was immediately prepared and welcoming even though we were a young and large group. Upon arrival we were offered a formula for the aperitif which, for a fixed fee, gave us the opportunity to drink as much spritz as we wanted with accompanying appetizers (chips, peanuts, etc.). The breakfast is also super satisfying, featuring a classic sweet and savory buffet. Excellent quality products that "forced" us to eat to exhaustion. I congratulate the staff, I will not miss the opportunity to recommend it to friends and relatives for their stays
