Thanks for a great weekend guys. Fantastic service, as always. Amazing food , as always & the friendliest staff we’ve ever met. We’ve been coming to Southwold since 2014 & have either visited or stayed at the swan & can honestly say, it was better than ever. A special mention to the guys in the bar. Your banter was pretty good & ur service exceptional, can’t wait to return

Just returned from 2 nights at the Swan and have to say it has been fantastic. From the moment we checked in the staff were attentive and helpful and the hotel has a really nice feel to it. The room was well appointed & comfortable with lovely decor and a definite upmarket feel. We looked out onto the town and could see the sea which was an added bonus! Breakfast was really good too, lots of selection and again the service was first rate. We also ate in the Still Room Restaurant and the food and drinks were excellent. Southwold is a beautiful little place so would highly recommend a visit and with the swan being right in the middle there is no better place to stay.

We had afternoon tea at The Swan, and it was wonderful. I am diabetic and without any fuss and despite not doing a diabetic version of the afternoon tea they made a few small changes to mine that made a big difference. I didn't ask them to, but they thoughtfully and subtly looked after me. The staff were lovely, the food was great, the beer was spot on (it's part of the Adnams Brewery estate) and the dining room was a comfortable and nice place to be. At just £35 each the afternoon tea was an absolute bargain, particularly given that you could have unlimited refills of any or all of it! Highlights were the scones (best I've had), the tiny ice cream cone, and an odd but wonderful pineapple and mint dish that bent my brain a bit but I really liked!

I celebrated my 60th birthday with a solo stay at The Swan I could not have envisioned exactly how special it was going to be. I was upgraded to a "Fabulous room" and received a birthday surprise awaiting me in my room of stunning confectionery on a decorated plate, wishing me a happy birthday. All of the staff made me feel very comfortable during my stay,which I greatly appreciated as a woman on my own. I sampled the stunning afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast All were excellent. My waitress looked after me , checking in on me often and chatting with me. My room was stunning. It oozed with luxury. I loved the freestanding bath.Filled with bubbles it was pure indulgence. I cannot express how thoughtful the staff were in making my birthday one to remember.

Had a lovely couples stay here, have been before and always amazing service. The staff will help you with anything you need and are all very friendly in the reception and restaurant. The dinner and breakfast were both delightful and amazing selection for breakfast including full english, all types of eggs, pastries, fresh fruit and yogurt etc. The room was impeccable and very comfy bed! Cannot fault it.

Just come back after a 4 day break ! On the expensive side for a uk destination, but worth every penny . The staff are absolutely, so professional in a relaxed way . The room was perfect . We stayed on a b&b basis , breakfast amazing , served to your table ! We did also eat here 3 nights battered monkfish, was awesome . This hotel really is up there, thoroughly enjoyed our stay . In fact we have just re booked for after Xmas .

A lovely stay at The Swan in Southwold. Always wanted to stay and it didnt disappoint. Attention to detail was great. We also booked the lighthouse tour and brewery tour...fantastic. Alison was really helpful when i booked. And Keith was a great tour guide. Well done all. Made my boyfriends birthday extra special. We will return. Thankyou!

I worked for Adnam's as Head of Customer Engagement when The Swan was going through its refurbishment. Although I no longer work for Adnams's visiting The Swan never disappoints, ranging from the ambience to the staff/food it is always of the highest quality. It is rare you have such a wonderful team who always go that extra mile.

My partner and I spent a couple of days in Southwold. Would highly recommend staying at The Swan the service, food and overall experience was fantastic I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
