"Great location right by Southsea Common with a lovely view. We could walk to the Southsea Esplanade and nearby spots like the D-Day Story, Southsea Castle, Southsea Parade Pier, Clarence Pier, and the Portsmouth Naval Memorial. Buses to Portsmouth Harbour and Portsmouth & Southsea train stations were easy to catch. Super convenient for sightseeing. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Free croissants, snacks, coffee, and tea in the morning were a nice touch. The room was fairly clean with simple facilities. The shower head and sink tap could use fixing—they didn’t work well. The bed was too soft for us, and we could hear people talking loudly outside until midnight. Overall, a convenient place with good hospitality at a fair price."

"Incredible review. The room was absolutely spotless and very clean. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and even let us drop our bags off early to which we found in our room when we checked in. Overall the experience was great and will certainly be returning soon."
