Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, eat, see animals and swim!!
You can also just come for the restaurant and eat something and enjoy the view- its free.
Jakals restaurant have amazing chefs and the food is to die for!!!!!

Beautiful lodge and the restaurant is just amazing with the wild view. Had a pizza and I must say it was made very well. I would recommend it to anyone though the meat that my wife ordered was abit tough. Excellent service though 👏

My father in law turned 78 years old! With the intention to take him to a place that is a spoil from his normal day life. However what a disaster! Our family room only had two bottles of water (we were 4 people), they provide tea bag coffee!? Worst thing I've ever tasted and two mini parmalat milks? I repeat, we were a family of 4. Dinner, my steak that I had ordered medium came well done, this after we had waited so long for our food. Breakfast, is a buffet. However when we arrived there was no more sausages, mushrooms ,cheese, etc! And the bacon was ice cold! Only after my husband requested to see the manager then they made us fresh breakfast which we waited 45min for and then the breakfast was still cold and the eggs grossly undergone. Worst experience ever, would not recommend.

Excellent venue. This was a weekend away for Family and friends from afar to attend my daughter's wedding. Everybody loved the venue, and the food was delicious too. I highly recommend this venue for other wedding couples too. Thank you Bona Bona Game lodge for making the wedding day / weekend so delightful! and a special thanks to Barbera's hospitality... you are an absolute "Gem"

I enjoyed the tranquility of the place. The staff is very kind and helpful so it was really worth the stay. The rooms and facilities look exactly like in the pictures. I was however disappointed that there was no variety with breakfast. Same thing everyday. Otherwise it’s worth the coins

Look I know execellent reviews look unreliable sometimes. But at Bona Bona Excellence is their standard. The service, food, rooms, facility,spa, and location. Is amazing. It is value for money, it is luxury that is affordable. Kids friendly, with kids menu,play area and swimming pool. The resturant is situated by a nice river. Overlooking beautiful animals. Great Service, Bona Bona.

i just want to say thank you for this beautiful experience ever. this was my 1st game Lodge I have ever been to. it was the best experience for a 1st time. from arriving to the last day of leaving. we experienced the most friendlies service. the room was 5star all the way. the day spa was amazing the staff was so friendly. the game drive was an experience like no other. the best kudu pot ever. we will definitely visit again. thank you so much.

We got married at Bona Bona 15 years ago. Incredible experience. We went back there for our anniversary recently. Fact: since then the Bona Bona Team invested an unbelievable amount of resources, time, passion and QUALITY into their venue. This is one of THE best safari / overnight / weekend venues you will find at a very very reasonable price. Right now Bona Bona is a world class outdoor destination and I can recommend it to any local or foreign visitors.
