We have a list of places that we wanted to visit, and one of these was Southend-on Sea. Logically we might have taken the trip when it was likely to be warm and sunny, but we just could not resist the offer from Premier Inn, which included a full English breakfast. So we booked a stay and also used Southend as a base to visit London for the Theatre and also the surrounding area. Our only concern was the possibility that it might have been cold and damp, but in the event the sea was calm and winds were low, and we enjoyed a train ride to the end of the famous pier, which was in easy walking distance from the hotel.

Very nice hotel, happily had a room upgrade and stayed in a wonderful room! Parking can be challenging, but not expensive in that area. Sea view is amazing!

This is the second time me and my husband have stayed here in the last two months . We paid for a standard room but were given an executive suite with a sea view !!! I was so happy this hotel is immaculate throughout. The rooms are amazingly clean and comfortable.Bathrooms are spotless and really modern but most importantly the staff are so friendly and welcoming.Theres literally not one thing I can say I didn’t like about this place except I didn’t want to leave !! Will be returning again and again Thank you for an amazing stay !!🤗
