"Its location is near Pan Pacific and Novotel Hotel. These 3 hotels are next to Melbourne Convention Centre. From Skybus Southcross station walk to hotel is around 20 mins. From hotel walk to Crown Casino Hotel is around the same time. Room size is big and it's like an apartment with the kitchen, dining room, washroom and bedroom. Room view is not what I expected to see the Yarra River. Will consider staying at other hotels next time."

"I'll start with the service, as I felt deeply disappointed and unfairly treated during check-in. It was our birthday on August 20th when we arrived. After mentioning this to the receptionist, not only did we not receive even a simple 'Happy Birthday,' but we were also told to buy our own cake from a shop as the hotel offered no special services or gestures. This level of service is utterly inconsistent with what one would expect from a Crown Hotel and left us extremely disappointed! We provided feedback to the front desk during check-out, and while they offered an apology and champagne, it was too little, too late. A birthday only comes once a year, and we were truly let down. **Facilities:** The hotel feels very new overall. The shower had a handheld showerhead, which is very family-friendly, especially for those with young children (many hotels in Australia don't have these...). The bedding was very comfortable. Disposable toiletries, drinking water, and slippers were provided – a nice touch, as we usually bring our own since many Australian hotels don't offer them. **Cleanliness:** The room was spotless. The bathtub was clean enough for kids to bathe in, which gave us peace of mind. **Location:** The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to dining and transportation. It's located next to a casino, so there's a lot of foot traffic. However, room access requires a key card, so we felt secure."

"It is a really good 💯 experience in this apartment, quiet, clean, near Flinder street, easy access to the train station, in the middle of the free tram zone. The best part is with a gorgeous city view, especially the sunrise view, it will melt your heart and make your day."

"Hotel location is very good. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to Eureka Building to the State Art Museum and Royal Botanic Gardens. It is no more than 10 minutes. We chose to go to Eureka Building as a convenient hotel. The only flaw in the evening experience is that the price is slightly higher but still acceptable."

"The room was a really good size. The balcony was at a level where there was no building blocking either the view or afternoon sun - we had to pay extra for this though. The fridge didnt really seem to work, at least the freezer didnt. When putting icecreams in the freezer, they melted, so I turned the dial to cooler and then the fruit in the fridge froze our fruit. We really shouldnt need to adjust settings in the fridge/freezer for them to work. Also the toilet keep running after it flushed. The only way to stop the running of water was to push down on the flush a few times quickly."

"Was a lovely stay which felt like home! Everything was clean and efficient. Arrived early by noon and was granted check in with a warm welcome of chocolates and a personal note! Enjoyed a high floor on level 18 and late check out till 1pm as Elite Silver member. Would love to return here again next visit as there are tram stops, 3 supermarkets and South Melbourne Market all within walking distance. Love the friendly service from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping staff! Everything feels so new and fresh in the hotel, well maintained and being new. Easy to call an Uber as well just a short ride to city."

"The hotel was what I expected, neat, clean, and overall pretty good. The staff we're great, most are Thai people, (probably the friendliest in the world 🌎) and nothing was a problem.... I did find the location...not ideal for what I had planned that night, (Pearl Jam at Marvel Stadium) but still, it was close enough so as not to be an issue."

"This accommodation isn’t exactly a hotel. The building is shared by other tenants. We were upgraded to a 2 bedded apartment on the 36th floor upon check-in, a newly acquired unit by hotel chain that was recently renovated. As we were the first guests to the unit, we felt like guinea pigs test driving the unit. Unfortunately, we encountered some unpleasant incidents. First, my elderly dad got a small gash from the floating kitchen cabinet shortly settling in (as start of cabinet is just after the entrance). A bumper guard at the corner of the cabinet would have prevented this accident. Second, one afternoon when we got back from to find our unit door ajar. Thankfully our belongings were still intact. Third, housekeeping generally poor. No one cleaned the bathroom throughout our 8 days stay and shower trap was choked. Fourth, one of the room’s curtain couldn’t be drawn entirely so we left it closed throughout. However, one day we came back unit to find the room curtain dislodged after house keeping. Fifth, there were no hangers in the wardrobe at all. Only got them 3 days later after haggling with the reception. Lastly, it was a bummer not being able to access Netflix as the connection was down. Unpleasant encounters aside, the unit has a beautiful view and is well contained with fridge, washing/dryer machine, dishwashing machine and cooking utensils. Good for long stay. Its location is near South Melbourne Market and accessible by foot to flinders station and the city. Woolsworth supermarket is just a stone throw away + eateries around the vicinity. On some days you can spot air balloons flying past."

"When we arrived, we had an issue with our room—the balcony door wouldn’t lock, and the balcony was somewhat accessible from other apartments. Concerned for our belongings, we asked if we could change rooms. The front desk staff were extremely accommodating and kindly offered us a free upgrade to a higher-floor, two-bedroom apartment. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the new room, the second bedroom was locked and inaccessible. We didn’t bother raising it as we hadn’t booked a two-bedroom apartment and didn’t really need the extra space. However, we are starting to feel that the rooms are becoming a bit... dated. There’s often a musty smell when we check in, and this time, we found someone else’s socks in the dryer—after drying some of our own clothes, which wasn’t pleasant. A little more attention to cleaning between guests and ensuring faults are properly addressed would go a long way. Sadly, this experience has left us considering other accommodation options for our next stay—something we wouldn’t normally do, as the Oaks’ location is fantastic! That said, I want to reiterate that the front desk staff were absolutely lovely and very accommodating."

"Extremely satisfied with my stay! The facilities are new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding was so comfortable, it felt just like being at home. It's quiet and well-kept, offering excellent value for money. A superb choice for both business and leisure travelers."
