Stop 21 Motel

I give this motel a very good review. It had funky colours which is why I chose it. The bathroom was very clean and you got your own toiletries too! The room has a fridge and a kettle. I have one small criticism and that is that the WIFI on the TV is very slow. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful even before I got there as I called her on the phone to ask questions before I made my decision. There's a nice chair to sit on outside your room as well with a view to the forest across the street. I needed a simple place to stay which was easily accessible to the beach in Southampton and this was the case. It was a 10 minute walk straight from the motel down to the beach that has some very quaint landmarks. An extra tip if you don't have a car it's easier to walk from the beach to downtown rather than take the road but this is only about a 10 minute walk as well.

Do not stay here. I puked 3 times from the smell of urine. Worst place I have ever stayed in my life! Payed cash for 2 nights and stayed in my truck the first night. They would not refund me my money for the 2nd night that I did not stay. They said the owner has taken the money and left for China.

This motel looks like it is on it's last legs. The reception area is small and messy but the receptionist was very friendly. Access road to the room is unpaved and unlevel. You need a strong arm to open the stuck door and the step to get into the room was just shy of 12 inches. We had to cancel due to mobility problems (could not get in the room) and were charged $70 to cancel. We were very disappointed and will not return.
