Econo Lodge Gateway Tamworth Reviews

Staff professional, friendly and was knowledgeable about the area, especially whilst the Tamworth Music Festival week. Extremely helpful from reception to the dining room staff. Accommodation was clean, a/c great, beds very comfortable. Overall a great experience of having a reservation at the Econo Lodge Gateway.

Stayed for the Tamworth Country Music festival. It's out of town but ubers and taxis aren't expensive. There's a bus to catch from outside, but it was too hot

It was old but clean. It was also very close to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were also friendly.

The property is currently under renovation. That did not impact my stay at all. The room was small but was well appointed, nice big TV, fridge, microwave oven, coffee/tea making provided, bathroom was renovated and had a great shower head. Bed was queen size and super comfortable so I had an excellent nights sleep. I had my dinner (good food) in my room which the staff delivered. All in all very happy with my stay and definitely not expensive.

Layout, age, and condition of unit is poor, needs an urgent upgrade.

It was annoying trying to initially find the property because it has been named the same as another lodge just down the road a bit, so that was where I went first, and then had to come back. The shower was a little in need of updating, as the water pressure was not great. All other facilities were lovely and clean and lovely friendly staff. Thank you

Good, budget room with everything I could possibly want for a one night stay.

Bed was comfy, very easy check in ((even though we arrived after hours), great staff. Great for a night passing through.

The property needs updating. I found the bed very hard which aggravated my back. There is no breakfast available at the property. The property is close to the club and pub which has great food.

We really loved the soft mattress, very unlike other motels!! It was so comfy to get into after a big day of sport!!!! Also the toaster and mini kitchen!!

staff very friendly, close to everything, easy walking, needs work do but it's being done soon.

Clean, basic accommodation close to Entertainment Centre. Suited our needs. Will stay again.

It's peaceful no traffic noise very comfortable. The only trouble I had was with the hot water but it has been fixed 😊
