Brilliant guest house run by Nisha. Nisha is friendly, helpful and makes you feel very welcome. Nisha also goes the extra mile to help you out. The room we stayed in was cosy, with everthing you could need for your stay. Tea/ coffee making facility, crockery & cutlery plus a fridge with a pint of milk included. The guest house is surrounded by a variety of eateries & bars. We will be back.

I stayed here whilst going to see a concert in Sunderland. Owner was amazing, such good communication throughout stay. Room had absolutely everything I needed for a solo stay, plus the bed was amazing. It was a short one night stay, however I will be back 100%! The location was perfect for a seaside stay!

Very nice property Clean, comfortable and close to town and beach Slight problem at check in as I booked same day and that is usually not allowed. Phoned owner who gave me key code access Room slightly small but ok apart from keeping banging my thigh on bed corner post. Could not find connection for the internet by phone or laptop Coffee and tea facilities but no milk sachets. Small fridge in room and small table and chair. Never saw or heard a yone during my stay Parking right outside property Recommended for visit

Stayed here for 1 night, what can I say! Amazingly clean room, great location, ample parking just outside the guesthouse (free). Ideal Location close to all restaurants and amenities. Met Nisha the owner who was absolutely amazing and friendly, nothing was to much trouble, however didn’t need anything as everything down to a fridge was in the room. Will definitely stay again when I’m the area. Keep up the good work and see you soon!!

Couldn’t ask for more, beautiful rooms, everything you want on the doorstep; beach, shows, places to eat. Will recommend this to my friends and will definitely be coming back. Not one complaint! Thank you Elmswood guest house 💙
