Do not book this apartment. Personally, it seems like a scam. The apartment didn't send me any check in detail unless I paid a £100 security deposit. The link that was sent to pay the deposit wasn't secure, nor was it mentioned anywhere that this step needs to be followed before checking in. Normally, and I've stayed in many hotels and apartments, deposits are usually paid upon arrival, not before check-in. Do not be fooled. Trip.com were excellent in providing me with a refund.

Wow. Where to start? Booked this apartment but didn’t get a code for the door. When I was finally able to get in touch with them, they advised me I needed to pay a refundable deposit prior to getting the code (this was not pointed out when booking). I paid the deposit and arrived at the apartment. Only to not be able to get access - the code they gave was incorrect. After 10 mins and taking to them on WhatsApp I gained entry with my 2 young girls The property itself is quite nice inside, but that’s where it ends. The hot water wasn’t working. I’m looking at the boiler - the service period had expired and is due a service. The boiler is in a bedroom!!! They gave me advice of how to fix the boiler myself! In a room where my kids were supposed to be sleeping! I moved my girls out of that room and into the room where I was “supposed to be sleeping”. The smoke and co detector in the living room (where I had to sleep because of the boiler) was missing. I brought this to their attention and they offered me a late check out. No thanks. Around 9pm, the pub downstairs warmed up and we were left with very loud music until 1am. Not ideal. The unprofessionalism of the owners of this apartment and group of apartments is off the scale. Stay at your own risk. They are at risk of a corporate manslaughter case at some point in the future. Don’t put yourself or your family at risk of being the victim

Booked this for my daughter 2 adults 4 kids. What a disgrace this is not suitable for 2 adults & 4 kids place is scruffy dirty it had not been cleaned no sheets or quilt cover to go on the kids bed what a disgrace going to report this company so no one will have to go through what we have we don’t live like this at home so won’t & it’s definitely not acceptable when your paying to stay some where it was like someone had just got up & left to left us move in for 2 days left all their muck dust & mess what a disgrace Don’t waste your money but I will be reporting you

My friend booked this hotel 6 months in advance of us attending the Bruce Springsteen concert for tomorrow. He has received a message from the hotel today cancelling our booking saying it was overbooked due to a technical error, then it appears to book online at 8 times the price!!!! So the hotel has clearly cancelled bookings to relist them at a massively inflated cost, leaving customers who are travelling from down country without accommodation for the event with 1 days notice. Absolutely disgusting way to do business - out of principal I will never book this hotel again. Maybe if we all did the same they would stop these underhanded practices.

Poor customer service, wanted a £300 ‘security’ deposit which wouldn’t be returned for 7 days and photo ID for a 1 night stay. This information is not easily available before you book and I pointed out that the accessible info states under prepayment “ You don't need to prepay. However, to guarantee your booking, the property may temporarily hold an amount on your card. This test payment will be returned to you”. I queried the amount and the insistence on photo ID when you’re not even met at the apartment by anyone so why was photo ID required? I requested an answer to this many times but they refused to address it. All communication was by WhatsApp group with 12 people I didn’t know and I certainly wasn’t going to just post photo ID to strangers! The deposit was reduced to £100 but as we had just driven 300 miles with 2 children, 2 dogs and a van load of furniture ready to move into our new home the next day I was not in a position to drop everything to pay a deposit especially as I had no idea where/who it was going to! We actually couldn’t afford to pay it and although I understand the need possibly for longer stays we wanted 1 stress free night before a big move the next day and it felt extremely unreasonable. I then began to get quite passive aggressive messages insisting on this payment or we would not get access codes. I became very anxious with this and decided in the end that I would not be forced or pressured into releasing personal details and handing over money I couldn’t guarantee would be returned. We ended up tired with nowhere to stay. Would most definitely not recommend if you want a stress free break!
